The Fallacy of DM as God 12/09 Review

This story is also the battle for Raghu's heart and soul which belongs to Daya Maayi right now but we know that Antara has already made inroads there and the symbolisation of Antara sitting on DM's "throne" in the promo symbolises that Antara will take this place in Raghu's life and this is exactly what DM fears,,it is not that Antara disrepected her but this worshipping machine Raghu that she has honed into will end up not being controlled by her.

As much as this story is about Raghu and Antara, this story will also be about a battle between two distinct ideologies represented by DM and Antara for Raghu's soul.There is still innocence and goodness in Raghu and Raghu needs Antara to retain this and take him back on the right path and for this I am not too upset seeing the DM worship by Raghu. Its needed because something big is needed to shake Raghu's faith in DM and its coming but before that we need to see how important DM is to Raghu.

Amidst all the plotting and menacing environment of DM's plottings, was the light and innocent romance of Raghu and Antara, again contrasting that this is where life's sweet sounds in Naikwadi will come from. And Raghu despite being honed to be a gangster has retained this sweetness and innocence and we have seen this in his scenes with DM and his scenes with Antara.

Hold on folks this is not just going to be a battle of love but a battle for Raghu's soul and we need Antara with her strong idealogies and her steady influence on Raghu to play an all enveloping role.

Well todays' episode marks the beginning of the real story. Here we will see the transtition of Raghu worshiping Daya Mai into a man who's world revolves around Antara, solely.

I really liked how Raghu went to Antara to find out what's wrong...he could see she was destressed..he calmly told her just go inside and nothing will happen. I loved how Raghu defended Antara to DM. DM expression told it all...she i already thinking this girl is a potential threat to take her right hand man away from her.

Raghu's worship was over the top but it had to be shown..he sees one side of DM and quite rightly, as everyone pointed out, there is another side of DM which raghu doesn't know about. This will shatter his world when he finds out and will turn to his friend, his love, Antara.

Rantara scene, I really love their innocence and purity here, how antara was willing to make amends just for Raghu, just shows how much Raghu means to her.
I just loved how she wanted to share her special moment of the mouth organ with Raghu, raghu being raghu, couldn't say it was him..he isn't the type to boost about his goodness which is what I love about him. He was smiling inside when Antara was praising him unknowninly.

Seriously Antara quit asking Raghu about DM because i dont want to keep hearing him say main pooj tha hoon apne bhagwaan ko!! Mera sir phatne wala hai...

Everything was soo OTT! I understand she is DAYA MAIYE, the goddess! Fine but was it necessary to go to this extent? Talk about major Drama!

Now on the other hand the story needed to move forward. I am going to assume that the OTT drama around DM was due to her entry and hopefully it wont look soo forced.

DM means the world to Raghu! You can see that innocence in Raghu. He didnt have anyone in life and DM (no matter how she is) gave him shelter. He cannot repay her. He thus worships her. To be fair to Raghu - He doesnt even know the other aspect of DM. We as audience know so we can sit here all day and abuse, but Raghu the character doesnt. This is what makes us sympathize with so much. Yes at times we will be mad at Raghu for not listening to Antara, but can we blame him? If someone who I met recently says something about my father or mother, do you think I would take it calmly? No! Very natural reaction. This world will come crashing the day Raghu sees behind her fakeness! It will be painful, but Antara will offer her shoulder! This is the beauty of Rantara. They will be there for eachother. Mostly we have seen Raghu do everything for Antara. This is will be a time for Antara to do something for Raghu. I am sure Antara will realize the reality of DM way before Raghu and this will be a testing time for her.

Mere musical couple were the saving grace for me!! One day i will like to see him play mouth organ and she puts her head on his shoulder and hummss on his Mera Mahi wala Tune!

Precap: Hint Hint: Antara is a danger for DM! Already uski jagah per baith ge.. meaning one day Antara will take over!

poor raghu... i made a post so i am copying here rt from there...

I really feel pity and very very sad for Raghu. He believes that Daya Mai love him, and very never let any sorrow comes to him.

^ The above emoticon almost describes my reaction on seeing the episode. I just want to shake my head and roll my eyes at the OTT-ness that is Daya Mai.

And if I could, I would empty a whole water tank on top of Raghu's head to wake him up and make him see the real face of his Daya Maiya!😡 I am so worried about the heart break it would cause to Raghu when he sees the truth one day. It will break him beyond anything.😭 I could tell how uncomfortable Antara was feeling at Raghu's dialogues about worshipping DM like a deity.🤢

I was almost sure expecting an outburst from DM at Antara's actions, but her silence is very disturbing. An outburst would have really relieved me. But her silence is disturbing, and it's almost impossible to deduce what's in her mind.

Coming to the good things, although I was hoping that Raghu would shout at Antara and we'll later get a guilty Raghu manaofying her, I must admit that Raghu's reaction today was most apt considering the state of their relationship now. They are past the stage of making judgements about each other without thinking. That scene proved how well they now understand each other.

I LOVED the scene where they were talking to each other in signs.😳 And the way Raghu has started to share about his life to her, shows how he now considers her a part of his life. I couldn't help but smile at Raghu's comment about his own music and Antara's defence.😆 His face was glowing when Antara praised his music.😃
