Yes I agree, I mean they seriously can't think us foolish enough to believe that he's actually going to kill Jodha, it's either someone's nightmare or Jalal strikes someone else who is next to her or something.

I think the promo is a dream of Ruqayya's. The dabbawallah will tell her that box was procured by Jodha. Jodha gifted the poem to Ruqayya's baby in a gold box. The guy is a fake, planted by the real culprit to point the blame at Jodha. Ruqayya will dream of telling Jalal when he returns from war and having him chop off Jodha's head. In the promo, as Jalal is swinging his sword, Jodha's green sari and border are visible. So he is swinging the sword at Jodha not anyone else. As this can't really happen it must be somebody's dream, Ruqayya's most probably.
