Sorry for my late post guys. My friend wasnt well so I had to take her to the health center,so I just watched the episode a few mins back.
Few things I noticed.
1. So Astha gives Shlok a reality check. I'm glad she told that he was responsible for his actions,it is true but it is not that she is not to be blamed at all. Astha has the tendency to go overboard with things and if she thinks twice before she does something,like in the case of speaking up for her friend,she could have waited awhile and then maybe once the award function had gotten over,she could have spoken to him . But what she did was right too. She had the courage to go and speak up for her friend and she did not know things would escalate this way so both the parties are at blame,I would say.
Maybe Shlok too feels that she was right to a certain extent,which is why he kept quiet throughout since his conscience niggled a bit ?
Also Astha adjusting the portrait of Devi Maa would suggest that even if their life goes topsy turvy,she would somehow straighten it out for both him and herself ?
2. Both parents are concerned about their kids' well being. But I was pretty shocked that Niranjan asks his son to leave for Mumbai,I mean where did that come from ? I thought he said that Shlok should fight for himself ,stand up to people and that it does not matter because this was only a small set back which is mirrored by Shlok too as he says that he is ready to face anything and would not run away. Turns out that Niranjan was only concerned for Shlok,as his only concern was that his son should not get affected by media vultures et al.
But if he trusts his son so much ,how could he ask him to go to Mumbai and then later say that he stands by his son's decision ,no matter what,does this suggest that more than concern,he seemed embarassed by his son's act or he wanted that control back in his life ,to be in the good books of everyone possibly, which Shlok had unknowingly disrupted ?
3. On the other hand,Astha in her Chulbuli manner,tries to pataofy her mother and after a lot of nautanki,she convinces her mother that she would heed her step from now on and would not talk to 'woh rokshas' even if he was the 'last man on earth 'types. Sometimes I feel that she may be too naive for words or just least bothered by her actions when she says that apart from a few lies,she had a clean chit which suggests that she has a rather frivolous nature,she means well but this is one mark against her (just my opinionš³)
And her Ajji spoils her ,I must say :P
4. Precap was cute <3 Seems like someone couldnt take his eyes off someoneš
One thing I like about this show is that none of the characters are perfect,in fact they are far from perfect,each having their own flaws,thus somehow they become relatable to us,the audience.
Liking the story so far and the entire cast is doing justice to their rolesš
