Farookh had his movies like Chasme baddor and Noorie,... and a few

slow-art movies during his peak-rosy-glory times,...and he did well,... and hold the water,..

and the name I remembered today after a long lime,.. for a reason,...when I am watching

" Listen Aamaya " now,... and that's how, I knew that I have seen this halel-tappu somewhere,... long ago,...

in line with some other hopeless of that time like Vikram and Anil Dhawan,... etc

After that, I came to USA and had a long gap,... so I did not see these guys in any TV serial,.. " Jeena iisi ka nama hai " or so,..that they might have worked,... no clue,...

But, the very guy when came in " Toofan" with Ameetji,... after a while,... in the commercial movie,... ( Oh No ! )

I still remember, that after getting outta theater,..

ppl were making fun, with a sattire,... asking the audience to each other,... did you see " Farookh shekh " in the movie ??? I did not.

This "lalu-panju" that I am talking about,... he is not any lesser in the fame, than Dipak Tijori,... Dipak Parashar or Rahul Roy !

Though, he was a co-star lead in the movie,... But it was ,.. Amitabh,. Amitabh,.. Amitabh,... so overlapped image movie,.. that ppl could easily forget to recognize, that Noorie's super star once upon a time,... is in the movie,...

u know,... this is the gutter-panju that I am talking about,... who jumped incompetently from arts-slow movie to the commercial and that's how, he made a joke of himself,...

as if,.. think like,...

nana patekar,... or ompuri,... stars in Rajesh Khannaa's Daag, aap ki kasam or Mehbooba with a lead romantic star-role ,.. in Full-Tu romance with Mummu or Sharmila,...!! Think over it !

Sure,...Public will do mass suicide,.. and I guarantee that.

There are many things that go into winning best actress award..it's never just the performance. It's always about the hype and who gave the biggest hit that year. Why else does an excellent actress like Tabu and other brilliant underrated actresses never win best actress? Because their film either wasn't a hit, was not popular, or the actress isn't popular. And we all know how well liked Khaani was as a film and it was a hit. Hence it was obvious Vidya was going to win.

Anuska as well won awards for her role in JTHJ. Yet a lot of ppl criticize her acting in that film. My point is awards are always bias we can't use the argument that if an actor won the award for her role that means she is perfect for the role. Kajol won many best actress award for her role in many of her films...yet I can totally see Rani playing those roles better than her.
