Ilu, I know this was addressed to Drea but Nandu asked the same thing earlier and I was telling her that it has to be understood because why else would Asad give money to billi for HER kid...he's not one to abandon his own. And by confirming that he heard that then he must have heard her confess all her murder attempts...and plus, in these shows...villians only confess their crimes if the CVs want the protagonists to be listening somewhere. My bet is that they walked in the door when she confessed to the chandelier, buried wall, and cliff push and then ran in time to get the candle.
