Yet both AK and Prithvi love. Both AK's love and Prithvi's love exist, are different in quality and in form.

My quest is: why do we on the Forum fight so much for AK's love for KS, and not at all for Prithvi's love for KS?

I liked your previous rationale: there is a love that comes out of "need/right", vs. one that is "deserves/correct". I do believe that AK _needs_ KS, and that she (and indeed, we all) are responding to that need.

Prithvi comes across as more deserving but he will live if KS doesn't go to him. Somehow one has always sensed that AK will not live if he doesn't have KS' love.

Perhaps _that_ sense is what we are all responding to? Perhaps that's the love that we all dream of? Is the answer to "Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai?" AK&KS' "Aisa Yeh Pyar Hai"???

Stuff to dream about late, late in the world's night... what fun.

Actually, one of the things that I've loved about AK, the character, has been his supreme intelligence. He's one of the best thinking characters that I've seen -- he's observant to the point of being perfectly confident of manipulating everything around him to suit himself. Sure, we haven't heard his views on world peace or little orphaned girls, but one senses that he is _not_ a dumbo. His actions during the entire Khanna Enterprises shares situation was evidence of his being totally aware of where he is, what he has. So I don't think that I'm mapping from the quality of his cheekbones to his brains alone. :-)

Personally, I think that it's intelligence that drives passion and then love. Personally. :-)

Multitude of emotions expressed from different perspectives..It just boils down to the fact that love is never that simple of an equation as too many unknown factors floating around!!

Of course the joy of finding the perfect unknown to go with the equation is the ultimate key to bliss!!!😉

"Almost" because I've always thought of ShahRukh Khan as cuddly rather than hot, but then he always seems to get the girl and/or the audience sympathy! (Sorry, this is out of the KYPH character space, but then again: we are discussing true love, passion and audience sympathy, no?)

As I had pointed out in one of my earlier posts, Prithvi will not accept Kripa in the relation of a wife if she is still contemplating between Angad and Kripa. That is what happened today! This is good. Kripa had accepeted that she misses something that she can not give Prithvi (when she accepted to get engaged). She can now decide what she wants.

I don't think Dadi is involved in negative role here. She has also indicated that Kripa should disclose everything to Prithvi. Otherwise there will be another storm coming at Prithvi-Kripa relation. Before Kripa could tell everything to Prithvi on her own (CIRCUMSTANCES AND OPPORTUNITY 😡 ), Prithvi knows about this through the tape! Do you sense the upcoming storyline?!

Err, KS gets thrown out of the apartment by Prithvi and starts wandering the streets. AK is already on the streets (Josh and Daadi just _HAD_ to go the London for some show and they took the keys to their respective houses with them) and wandering.

And as happens in KYPH-land, they are wandering in the same street. But as typically does not happen in KYPH-land, AK is NOT drunk and KS has her eyes wide open, neither glazes out or falls behind a tree at the wrong moment and DO bump into each other.

Their arms go up automatically to steady themselves and find that the body next to theirs is a perfect match. So their arms lock around each other and can't be broken, KS' head rests against AK's heart, AK's chin rests on KS' head, a beam of light opens up from the skies, illuminating our two sweet lovers finally together, and ...

beam them up into a spaceship where they are spirited away to a nicer, gentler world where they never have to let go?

This storyline? :-) No? Sorry: which one did you have in mind? :-) :-)

U r soooo rite.... true luv and choosing for the right reasons apart, I truly feel that spark has been (badly) missing in the past two-three epi's...
