I suggest he not listen to his dad if he wants the acting world to take him seriously.

No one really respects salman, they suck up to him b/c he's ruling the BO. When he falls, everyone will go to the next big thing.

Varun needs to do his own thing, emulate from his idols, but be original and unique in his ways. Mimicks never work on-screen only on stage in Vegas.
