Firstly extremely sorry for the delay Z.

You are weaving a very engaging story Zehra. It was a pleasure to read it again.

In the first chapter we get to see everything from Arnav's point of view, a rarity in most ffs. He holds his family dearly and loves the attention they shower on him, but one thing he will absolutely not allow is sharing this joy with Khushi. To him, Khushi is a threat to his joy and peace. His dislike is evident and extent is immense, that makes one wonder the reason. When he finds Khushi in his room, you know that it is enough to trigger his switch. What follows makes you want Khushi to retaliate, but she bears it all silently. In the end when you get to know that the family is cooking a plan, it adds to the curiosity quotient.

In the second chapter Arnav was being downright rude. With Khushi being unresponsive, you really wonder why. I loved the whole Temple scene. Anjali makes Arnav apologise and pick Khushi's bag 😆, now that is some sister power! That exchange between Lavanya, Aakash, Mami was hilarious Z. Especially "My Lavs, my La, my tip taap, bootiphool daughter" Mujhe Nk ke entry ki yaad aa gayi {flicks a tear}. Love how you get an element of comedy in your stories. I like Lavanya, she will keep Khushi entertained. I realised that Shyam happens to be a brother or a brotherly figure in most your stories and I absolutely love that. Finally Khushi ties Shyam a rakhi!! When Anjali narrates about Khushi's loss, your heart breaks and then everything falls in place; Why she is here after 8 years and why she is so subdued.

In the third chapter we get a peak into the past, and Khushi's perspectives too. Her reasons why she finds him insensitive are justified in this update. I absolutely loved that dialogue Khushi gave him when he said he could understand, absolutely refreshing to hear her say it instead. But Arnav being Arnav responded in anger, without thinking that he had actually come to make amends.

The fourth chapter reveals more about their childhood, the reasons why both had gotten off on a rough start. Khushi is avoiding Arnav to the fullest as she wants to save herself from further pain. Arnav on the other hand is trying his best to apologise. He knows Khushi well enough and does the one thing that would definitely cheer her up; an option that did not click anyone else.

The past gave more insight and made it easier to understand their behavior towards each other.

They have taken childhood hostility to another level.

The fact that Arnav can read her so well speaks alot.

So he called her Bua? Hoping this acts as a closure to their volatile past.

what a beautiful well balanced episode with flashes from the past and happenings from the present...loved the way Arnav could understand her pain and got "buaji" for her...

In their childhood they both were so mischievous. They both pulled out the pranks they shouldn't have. He was serious for his career and she was a little child to be scared of ghosts. That could have led to a panic attack in the poor girl.
Oww.. But nobody listened to him. Poor guy and then also even after his apology though only on the insistence of his mother, Khushi didn't give him a break. It would have been obviously very annoying for him, being on remand with no fault of his. And yeah I'm wondering what was his plan to get back in the good books.
The good thing is he has realized that he was being rude and he has no right to shout at her like this. It's strange that even after relenting each other for most of their childhood/teenage which carried over to the present, he could see through her, read when her smile is fake, when she is present mentally in a place.
He brought Buaji, hai na!!! and this lead her to break her facade and her resolve to not cry. Well done Arnav!!! You actually did the right thing.
