Media Articles, Videos & Future Track Discussion - 6

The post has been opened for the -MAS- Episode Discussion thread readers and posters for Media Articles Discussion.

Otherwise its open for everyone, but immediate context and urgency was for -MAS- ED thread writers and readers, who needed to express themselves.

Objectives are mundane and doable.

A repository to post the relevant and discuss about it.
Less of litter across the forum
Easy navigation for users of the thread

Rules are simple - Be self checked for applying your discretion towards the objectives of the thread. As a guidance these are sample do's and don'ts.

Don't make it a ranting, whining, complaining and chatty discussion for each sensational news received and which affects you sensitively.
Even IF has a rule of not more than 3 comments for the Tellybuzz article comment section. We want people naturally to be discrete about their emotional rants.
Make factful presentation of news and meaningful logical discussions over any topic even if that is a single line. Point is for pages along, only few people discuss the same thing, how are the interested ones even to know what is being discussed ?!!!

Sadly, MB TRPs went down further from 2.4 to 2.2. The show continues to squeak into the top 10, at #9 position like the week prior - there were two #5s, , and two #8s this week.

MB weekly TRP trends:
There is no other way to put this - the TRP trends are positively gloomy (see the chart below.) The overall TRPs for the week showed the effect of declining daily TRPs. My view* is that seems like it's the combined effect of viewer confusion/ambivalence/disengagement about Madhu's behavior, and just inconsistencies in the show in general; the Bhai track in full swing; the absence of special Rishbala focused episodes post wedding. (*others will have additional perspectives, I'm sure.)

There was a time when my heart used to burn seeing that downward line, now I just feel happy!

And I'm going to insist that MB is actually at #11 position this week as there are 10 shows ahead of it.

I think the downward spiral is only because of Madhu's reaction towards Sultan. After all that bulldozing of the promo, it turns out that Sultan was passing by and stopped when he saw a sleeping Madhu. He did'nt want to tell her anything, but the promo gave out the wrong impression, disgusting the viewers.

Outlandish plotlines Indian audiences are used to, can handle it. In fact, Sultan turning out to be RK's half brother is very typical, Kekta standard twist that Tv viewers are used to...

The alag che concept is that the heroine is ambivalent, and Sultan -Madhu seem to have this private conversation going on. Deja vu...again it reminds of what I used to hate about RK-Dipali.

RS had said long time back, she is a normal girl, she makes mistakes...but this is not even a mistake. Normal middle class girls do not behave like this, even if I accept that somewhere in India, some middle class girl testified against a celebrity drunk driver and accept the clunk.

What are they doing? And why?Once again, DD doing Jhalak is no excuse, she is there in every frame. I remember when I started watching MB, well into September last year, I was shocked when i heard it had garnered low TRPs and was on the verge of shutting down. Now I can understand why...

I have to say, it is sad seeing that line go down. And going by how I felt about watching the show this week, I somehow doubt that TRPs are going to be any better this week either. I know CVs have their own idea as to how the story and characterizations will play out, but doesn't the audience have a say? We are the ones supporting and watching, after all. No viewers, no show, right? And at this stage, I think there has been a fairly clear message sent by the audience. Worst part is, how long will this continue, before the show is damaged beyond redemption?

ETA: and yes CR, I would say the same too - #11. Funny math...

who does that yaar? bring a time bomb to her house..who will benefit from her idiotic proposal of having sultan in RK mansion? RK? Radha ? Meera ? the woman for whom she's trying to garner sympathy is not in her senses 🤢 yes, Sultan and Bhindipie will be the happiest..all charges against him will be dropped bec. he turns out to be RK's half brother..Bhindipie will get Madoo as his nanny cum half ma 🤢 what crap ! now i want the TRP's to drop this much that the PH is forced to drop Bhai track...where is RK's honeymoon ? 🤢

I wish vd get a break in bollywood. Rk is the only one make me stick to the show. I can't take this crap anymore. I dnt understand why vd and dd still in the show. Both Rk and Madhu's characters are tarnishing continuously

RADHAJI BACK OUT

Radha comes to Sultan's house and Madhu urges her to speak the truth. Radha tells Sultan that she's ready to pay for Meer'a full treatment and that's the maximum she can do for a woman who is trying to malign her husband's name. Madhu is shocked to see Radha backing out of the plan and Sultan gets irritated.

At the mansion, Madhu question Radha as to why she didn't speak the truth in front of Sultan. Radha advises her to keep mum and especially not tell RK anything about it. Madhu listens to her but thinks how to hide it from RK. When he meets her on stairs and asks if anything is wrong, Madhu is unable to say anything.

Dipali too goes to question Radha but the latter adamantly tells her to not speak up the truth else she will throw her out of the house. Dipali is shocked to hear the threat.

At night, RK is packing for his outdoor shoot and keeps talking about great a husband is father was. Madhu feels stressed on listening to his words but remembers her promise to Radha and keeps quiet.

In the morning Roma comes to meet Madhu and RK tells her that he's leaving for outdoor shoot. Radha asks Madhu to go along with RK and she will be fine alone. Madhu wonders why Radha wants her to go.

i have never seen such stubbornness...y the makers are hell bent to shove this useless charch and the track down our throat...aren't they getting the clear message that audience is rejecting it n show is headed to dumps!!!

this is not " alag che " i signed up for...when i hv put so mch time n emotions to 1 show i expect the makers to value my opinion..in the end the show is for viewers n not for satisfying their own ego!!!

call me sadist but m more than happy to see drop in Trps today..try playing vd us n we will show u who the real boss is neither channel nor PH its me who has Remote...hope it goes down further😡

2.2 TRP is for madhu's ambivalent behavior last week. This week we have her seeing off, prasad., and on top of it today trying to bring back them to mansion etc. And we do not know what tamashas await us for next 2 days.Imagine the TRP's next week. I wish for a drastic fall. My doubt is without exposing the secret to R.K how could she defend their return to the mansion. She helped Radha to bond with her estranged son, So she will make R.K bond with his step mom too? is track is all about it. BTW. Meera too does seem to hate MK. what does Madhu and Sultan want?
