i started reading this story when lazyleaves recommended this in her story of the week thread & i just cant thank her enough for recommending such a beautiful arshi love story.
believe me when i say this, this is the best fairy tale i have ever read not just because it has arshi in it but because it has all the elements of a fairytale & every single bit described perfectly.
loved it❤️

I was looking for a completed story for so long and now I'm thinking why the hell am I the last person to read this!!!

Beautiful tale, Rasgulla. I mean every cliche there is used as you promised but done with such elan and beauty. Elves, Fairies, Genies, Apples that can make the color red blush, Lavanya that makes elves sound like the coolest species to roam the earth, the Devil who makes the one who wore Prada sound like a mewling cat...

Oh I loved every bit of it. Water is my element...Khushi in the white dress and the blue sash, Anjali the statue of stone, Twiggy the genie who splits herself to fit into 2 glass slippers...

Oh and the Arnav who makes every Prince Charming pale in comparison.

And the Khushi could put the phrase heart of gold to shame and some

I had a fun day reading this. Who am I to argue with either C.S.Lewis or Einstein. I had decided to not read fairy tales to my little one. Who tells their children about evil so early. But then, what fun would it be if you didn't have a childhood favorite story and dreams that will feel like ridiculous mistakes when you are older.

Sigh. Am I believer or am I cynic? Truth is, I am just a reader who loved this tale

Bravo!

Amazing!
When I came across your FF, I thought, crazy! No way! An Arnav and Kushi fairy tale. Unbelievable! I thought there's no way you can pull this off. Aranv and Kushi. Indians. Fairy tales. I grew up with the Aesopp Brothers. No way!!
Then I began to read your story. And to say that I was hooked from the first chapter would be a lie. Hell, I was hooked form the first sentence!!! As I was reading, there was no connection in my mind about Arnav and Kushi being Indians. yet, the entire time, throughout the FF, I thought of Sanaya as Kushi and Barun as Arnav. I thought of them as Prince and Princess, the way I did all the characters as I was growing up whilst reading the Aesopp Brothers. And even though the characters I grew up with had blond hair and blue eyes, there was never a doubt in my mind that Kushi was the princess, and Arnav was the prince. There were no doubts when you really did use all the cliches. There were no doubts when Lavanya appeared. There were no doubts when Kay appeared with the apple. I just read it as one of the fairy tales I used to as I was growing up.
And I absolutely loved it! I loved the characters. I loved the cliches. I loved the way the characters were. I loved the side effects. Everything! I loved everything about it! This was a fabulous FF. It was magical and the love was always there. For Kushi. From Arnav. For Arnav. From Kushi. There were villains but the love was stronger. There was angst but not dread. There was fear but not hopelessness. OMG! I could go on! But suffice it to say, that
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!
You have pulled off no small feat here, my dear!
👏 Bravo! And thanks for letting me read your story. Now on to more of your work!!👏
Umm... stayed up all night reading this FF!!!
