The case that has the entire film industry shuddering has taken an interesting turn today. Young actress, Jiah Khan, who was all of 25 mysteriously hung herself to death a few days back. On the basis of the suicide note procured from Jiah's house, Mumbai police arrested Suraj Pancholi.

Suraj, son of actors Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi, was dating Jiah. It the break down of that relationship which drove her to end her life. Apparently, the actress in her last letter hinted at domestic rape and violence, including being forced to abort their love child.

The note that was under scrutiny for verification of its autheticity has been validated. It is being used as substantial evidence for booking charges against Suraj, the most primary one is 'Abetment Of Suicide' under Section 306A of the Indian Penal Code.

I don't know it's not his fault according to me.

They were both so young! Obviously he just wanted to have some fun...she however all took it seriously...really at the age of 25? 🤢 I don't blame the guy for wanting to party and manipulate women...that's just the way guys are. Especially guys who aren't married.

As far as the abortion and rape and violence...wasn't she born in the UK? didn't she grow up there? 🤢 seriously she still wanted him after he hit her? and he raped her too? How about going to the police? Forced abortion? How? Did some masked guys kidnap her and bring her to a clinic? Was it really so hard to tell her mum or sister: I'm pregnant! And I doubt she had to fear her mum...her mum is married to a firangi and she seems a modern woman who proudly posts pictures of her daughters who hardly wear clothes.

By the way the fact she wanted to be with him so badly tells you: she wasn't 100%.

i really don't get the rape part- did he actually rape her or was she hinting at a childhood experience of some one raping her before? i am confused!

but yeah if he raped her she should have never been part of it any more!

She didn't write that he raped her. She wrote that she had gone through rape previously.

She did write that she was afraid that he would tormet/abuse her emotionally or physically, and also that he threatened to hit her.

I read on twitter that her mother claims he slapped her.

But, again, she didn't write that he raped her.

Again, the guy is a moronic douche bag for dating and leading a mentally disturbed girl on, however he isn't a murderer. Nothing in that note suggests he assisted her suicide in one way or another. She was just complaining about lack of love, fidelity and devotion from him the way she gave it back. A lot of romantic/sexual relationships are imbalanced like this but we can't charge them all with murder due to accusations of unrequited love and infidelity from the deceased. No where in the letter did it say, he raped her. From that letter, I concluded she was raped and/or physically abused by someone in her past thus clung to Suraj like he was the last hope in her life. Jiah was disturbed, a lot of factors could have contributed to her suicide out of which Suraj was just ONE therefore this is a nonsensical charge. Last I checked, infidelity and douchebaggery is not a crime so it shouldn't amount to a manslaughter charge.

I feel bad for the guy...😭 douche bag yes...but aren't they all? ranbir kapoor isn't a prince either right? most guys are douche bags especially in their twenties...

Anyway i hope Salman will save the Pancholi kid from jail...and after he does he will decide to join his buddy Sanju in prison.😳

Honestly, this guy is an asshole, but c'mon, its obvious that this girl had issues going way back to her childhood that her mother should have picked up on and treated her accordingly.

I indeed blame the mother 🤢 who unfortunately is busy with a witch hunt against the guy. Yeah he led her on...so? This Jiah girl wasn't some goan ki chori. I think the mother was to busy romancing her firangi husband 🤢 instead of paying more attention to her children.
