Part 12.2:

Asad managed to calm Tanveer down and take her to the bed. Dilshaad had come home, heard Tannu's screams and had come running up the stairs just around the time Asad toke her to the bed.

Looking at the situation, Zoya's confused look and Tanveer holding Asad as if her life depended on it, she toke the decision that she would be the one to take care of Tanveer's cuts and send Zoya and Asad away before Zoya's confused looks turned into angry one's or even worse hurt one's.

She told Zoya to go and get ready or they would be late to the walima.

Ammi, hum abhi bhi jaa rahe hain, aap Tannu ke Haal dekh rahe hai na. Use kaise akela chorde.

Zoya, lost in thoughts hardly heard a word and Asad, that toke it as her being in shock or scared, hugged her from behind, when his Ammi had her back towards them busy taking care of Tannu, and whispered; don't worry, mere hote hue tumhare pass bhi koi nai aa sakta, I'll always be there - as he lead her out of Tannu's room, down the stairs and into her own room.

He looked at the red lengha still in her hands and smiled.

Forget about what just happened Zoya and get ready in that - he said pointing to the lengha - and make me forget as well.

Hearing Mr. Khan's words brought her back to reality and made her blush, was this really the same man joh woh aur actually par atak gaye the. She hugged him and whispered a thank you in his ear before she turned around and went into the bathroom to change, leaving behind a smiling Asad.

At the same time a fuming Tanveer sat on her bed;

Phir se mera plan flop, is Khala ke toh main!
Asad mere saath rookne ki liye tayar tha, baar nai, tumhari laadli Zoya akeli kaise ja sakti!

As she closed her eyes she saw Asad hug Zoya from behind and whisper something in her ear trying to calm her before walking away with her still in his arms.

She opened her eyes to make the images go away, they were a reminder of her losing and that to, to Zoya. I'll have to take it up a notch she thought as she closed her eyes and fell asleep already planning her next step.
