I think the extra weight on Ram actually suits the character. It actually makes him seem slightly more the age of the Jai Walia character. I think Ram is in his early 30's and trying to make a character look at least 10 years older is quite tough. I think Ram Kapoor has (and is doing)) a fantastic job!

Because Ram has been in good shape before, I don't think that it would be too difficult to lose those extra pounds in the near future.
