Ranbir was born on 28th September,1982 in the prestigious Kapoor Family.Great grandson of the bollywood pioneers Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of legendry Raj Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor is the son of actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.Ranbir has an elder sister Riddhima Kapoor.
Ranbir studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and went on to pursue method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
Ranbir made his debut in Bollywood in the year 2007 with Saawariya.Before doing movies he worked as assistant director on the sets of Prem Granth, Aa Ab Laut Chalen and Black.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of his romantic movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, was spotted at the Mumbai airport. The actor has been busy with the promotions of his movie, which releases on May 31.

Ranbir was stylish in a leather jacket and jeans.

The phone goes back in his jacket pocket. Ranbir Kapoor will be romancing Deepika Padukone in the love story directed by Ayan Mukherji.
