As more and more celebrities are taking to social media platforms to become more accessible to their fans, Varun too has taken to it. But he feels that this has its advantages and disadvantages.

As the actor candidly puts it, "Very honestly, it's a double edged sword because it can go either ways. You cannot connect to everyone all the time so people get upset when you don't reply. So depends on what you use the platform for. You can choose to use it to talk about some social issues. But the truth is most actors use it to promote their films and endorsements".
