That relationship out of wedlock. Unacceptable š¤¢
Being in a physical relationship knowing it would hurt their parents
Cheating on parents? You mean being in a relationship without their parent's knowledge? How is that unacceptable?I couldn't go through more than half of CB's book but that was for a different reason all together.

A LOT
I don't like Chetan Bhagat as an author. I find his writing weak and juvenile. That being said I agree with Riyasi. I never had any problem with his female characters. In fact one good aspect about his writing is that male and female characters are equitably developed.
Yes his women have relationships and have sex. But they aren't throwing themselves at anyone. It is a mutual development in the relationships. There isn't anything characterless about it either.
And perhaps parents may not like their children having premarital sex or relationships outside the community, but these things are a personal choice and one cannot always live every aspect of their life according to someone else's rules and expectations.
So you say its okay to have physical relationships out of wedlock?š¤
What were they supposed to do? Remain celibate or ask permission to consummate the relationship? Asking parents for permission at every step of the way?
