When you watch tv as the audience one does not look at it as fiction or non fiction the movie or a serial has to be as real as possible, you have to feel the emotoins of the character that what art is all about but thats not the discussion here we're talking Arjun, Purvi and Onir and we all all entltled
to uor own opinions Its clear that your are a Punir fan and I am an Arvi fan i think that we should now agree to disagree :)

I've been an indian serial addict for 4 years now and i've never seen even once a realistic storyline. Sometimes i wonder if the scriptwriters consider viewers as gullible and dumb if you know what i mean. Like dead people coming back to life... wives beings mistreated and yet keeps quiet and endure all the heartaches and pain... Donating their child and the man they love for another person's happiness... wives giving up their rights, being cheated, robbed, beaten up, almost killed and still manage to be patient and kind. Things like these don't normally happen in real life. Scriptwriters are insulting the viewers intelligence with these kinds of stories . I think they're sending a message that fiction is fiction. Don't expect too much reality from a t.v show.

Excellent post. I feel the same way sometimes as no matter what fiction it is, the viewers should see enough reality to have that attachment and involvement. If the audience does not feel the story then the script would be nothing as no one will watch or watch it for too long. From all the discussions in the forum, I found that people relate this to everyday life no matter how you turn and twist it saying its just fiction and if they cannot relate to it then...

So we think PUNIR will stay together after yesterdays episode. The current track makes it look like that. But wait, Ekta will separate them. It's her winning formula.
