'Huh' Moments of the Week (15 - 19/4/13)

The week started on such a lovely note, with Asad announcing his engagement to Zoya, and ended on him breaking it, breaking all our hearts in the process as well. But there's next week's airport scene to look forward to (: In the meantime, here are this week's 'huh' moments. Moments where we all find ourselves going: Huh?! What just happened??

'Huh' moment 1: Zoya says goodbye to Raabert by announcing that a makkhi was around

From the holi episodes, it was confirmed that Asad now knows about Zoya being Mona and Ayaan being Raabert (how he knew that is another mystery, but let's just let it slide). So when Zoya said goodbye to Raabert in front of Asad, he must've known it was Ayaan. Then didn't he wonder why she was talking to Ayaan all of a sudden? What work could she have with Ayaan now? I'm sure he must realize that Zoya and Ayaan mostly talk to each other only to make plans against him, so I find it quite odd that he didn't question Zoya what she was talking about after she hung up.

'Huh' moment 2: Mr Batawdekar decides to question Asad and Zoya about their likes and dislikes

Okay if the point of his questioning was to find out if they know each other well enough, then questioning them like that in front of each other makes no sense. It's not like Mr Batawdekar knows Asad's and Zoya's likes and dislikes, so they could easily be making up whatever they want and he wouldn't know. So despite the cuteness of the scene, I still fail to understand its point.

'Huh' moment 3: Tanveer takes a look at the engagement ring on Asad's bed

So the red box with the ring was already lying on Asad's bed when Tanveer walked in. She saw it, and picked it up for whatever strange reasons she might have, and then Asad suddenly came at the door. So logically, if you're looking at/holding something that isn't yours and then the owner turns up, you would quickly try to put it back in the same place you found it, in the same position as well, so that it doesn't look suspicious right? So wouldn't it make more sense for Tanveer to have closed the box and left it on the same spot on the bed when she had first found it? But no, she actually put in the effort to stuff it in Asad's coat pocket, which logically would take longer to do then if she had just dumped it back on the bed where she found it. So as much as I'm grateful she did it (since now Asad can propose to Zoya because of it), I still don't know why she did it, doesn't really make sense.

'Huh' moment 5: Humeira fails to get a glimpse of Zoya's face once again

We went through this whole hide-Zoya's-face-from-Ayaan thing, and the conclusion of it at holi was just about the most anti-climax thing on earth. Yet now they've started the same thing with Humeira. I really, really, really hope there's a point this time, seriously.

'Huh' moment 6: Humeira gets poisoned

Okay, leaving aside the fact that the poison worked on Humeira so quickly, the entire family seems to believe that Zoya had poisoned Humeira right? Poison could lead to death, so technically it's attempted murder. So why didn't anyone (like Razia or Gaffur) call the police to arrest Zoya, since they believe she's the culprit? I am glad that they didn't, but it's just quite strange that they let the person who poisoned their daughter get away scot free.

'Huh' moment 7: Tanveer tries to seduce Asad

Dude seriously, I felt like gagging during that scene, I can only imagine how Asad managed to keep himself from puking hahahaha. Okay this last 'huh' moment was just added because I was really quite appalled that Tanveer actually thought she'd be able to snag Asad by removing her dupatta. I mean, seriously, that's lame.

Highlight of the week: Asad admitted that he likes Zoya in red

Oh. My. God. How adorable was that scene!! I was smiling like a goofball throughout the scene, it was just amazingly cute, the way Asad actually thought about the question and gave a truthful answer <3 Oh and how can we forget Zoya calling Asad baby, and Asad calling Zoya sweetie!! Their faces were classic in that scene haha especially Asad. KSG portrayed the discomfort and exasperation that Asad was going through it that scene really, really well (:

And just to add on to that,

OH GOD I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THE AIRPORT PROPOSAL I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MY HAPPINESS HOW WILL I SURVIVE TILL MONDAYYY.

You know what I don't get! What pregnancy report has a front page with the words "PREGNANCY TEST" bolded and underlined! Hahahahaha. And how does Dilshad NOT read the paper and how is Tanveer not showing pregnancy symptoms! Actually, maybe tr dupatta fiasco was due to her body producing too much estrogen! Hahahahahah 😆

Thats a good point. But i think that maybe the way he asked them the questions, at rapid fire speed and they answered in the same speed, It kind of served its purpose. They didnt stutter or stop to think. Only Asad with the color red.

I thought it weird too that she didnt just put it back on the bed. But then i was more focused on thinking they need to disinfect that box after her grimy fingers touched it. Thank God she didnt contaminate the ring itself 😆

I really, really, really hope there's a point this time, seriously. I think that the revelation of Zoya and Humeira is a much bigger deal than Ayaan and Zoya. I mean they will find out that they're related by blood and the same father! They must have something big planned for that.

So if anything happens to Humeria they know where to find her or to send the police.

I dont understand how a fully clad female can be so disgusting man. Dire situations are happening and you're trying to seduce a guy? I dont think she understands that Asad is just not THAT type of guy. Shes just straight up nasty. And needs lessons on how to seduce men.

It would be nice if after they're married they have pet names for each other. Asad could continue to call her sweetie...Too cute 😊

Yeah you made a wise decision, Zoya is actually my favourite character in the show haha, watching her cry makes my heart break. But I can't stop myself from watching every single episode of QH either haha I'm seriously obsessed :p

Very true!! It didn't strike me also, that the font on pregnancy report was a bit too unrealistically big hahaha. And yeah why isn't she having any morning sickness?? It should be especially pronounced during the first few months of pregnancy, but Tanveer hasn't been shown puking even once!!

Yeah and I guess that's the only logical reason as to why Tanveer put the ring in Asad's coat pocket, they basically needed it to end up in there somehow hahaha.
