Previously on KGGK…
Parvati witnesses how much has changed in 18 years. Trishna forces Pragati to get engaged and reminds Gunn of the Agarwal family history in terms of extra marital affairs. The AV of the Agarwal Empire starts to play and a voiceover on the AV says the word KATIL. Everyone is thrown into static shock.
And now Kahaani as of 22nd November
Parvati smiles inside as she sees Trishna and Rajeshwari squirming. The AV is stopped immediately and Parvati tells herself that she kept her promise to Om and we are shown how she switched CDs. Trishna tries desperately to explain things to the press as they question her over and over again about what they saw. She's barely out of one mess when Parvati walks up to her and talks to her in a made up voice. She says that she wants Trishna's help because she has been entrapped in a horrible scandal. She says that she has been framed for the murder of her husband and nephew when she did nothing at all. She says that her husband was her world and her nephew was greater to her than her own son and she could never kill them but this other woman who married the family's younger brother has framed her for this murder. Parvati goes on to say that when she stood in court that same woman turned her own daughter against her and made her give evidence against her and so she lost everyone in her life. She finally says that the family who meant more to her than life then kicked her out of their lives for good. Trishna is horrified by this and wants to know who this woman is. She turns to the reporters to ask some privacy and at that moment Parvati makes her escape.
Trishna sees her running out and follows her. Outside the mansion, a panicked Parvati runs smack into Kamal and he falls at her feet. She raises her veil to have a good look at him and remembers how he used to always be with her fighting side by side. She tries to place her hand on his head to give him her blessing but he gets up and she covers herself again before she runs off. Soon after, Trishna comes outside and asks Kamal if he saw a woman in a burkha and he says that she was probably running away from her and Trishna frightfully tells him that that woman could have been Parvati. Kamal is shocked and Trishna sends the security after her.
Parvati runs as fast as she can but the guards soon catch up with her and Trishna joins them to unmask the woman but to her relief it isn't Parvati. She asks the guards to let the woman go and tells herself not to be insane because Parvati is dead not knowing that Parvati is watching everything in hiding. Just then Kamal arrives there and tells Trishna that even from the grave Parvati is still taunting her because today he saw Trishna get so afraid just at the sound of Parvati's name. Trishna dismisses him and leaves while Kamal goes to the woman and tells her that he will take care of her problems because today she did something that no one could have done in years. He says that if her name is even slightly like Paravti's then he will worship her. Parvati watches all this and is very sad. She then sees Kamal reach for his hipflask to have another drink and is slightly disappointed.
Trishna arrives back at the mansion and Rajeshwari asks her what happened and she says that she has no idea since Bharath is the one who made the CD. Bharath comes running and tells Trishna that he doesn't know how this happened because his friend was supposed to do the CD but the real CD was made to her specifications. Trishna asks him to leave and tells herself that she needs to burn this CD. A moment later a girl's voice calls out "Mama" and both Gunn and Shruti look up to see Tanu has arrived. Shruti rushes over to Tanu but she ignores her and runs straight into Gunn's arms. She talks really fast to Gunn and tells her all about her trip when Shruti interrupts them with a present for Tanu. She gives her a laptop and Tanu tells her that she really didn't need one but Shruti counters by saying that she wants her to excel in her computer studies and Tanu says that she will still do well without a laptop. She then excuses herself and drags Gunn aside to ask what's wrong with Shruti because she's never seen her behave so nicely with neither Gunn nor Pragati. Gunn then tells Tanu to forget about it and go talk to Pragati. When Tanu leaves, Shruti and Gunn share a knowing look with one another and go their separate ways.
However, all of this has been observed by Sameer who asks Shruti what her problem is. He asks her why it's so important that she look out for Tanu and says that she's an irritating girl and he doesn't know how Gunn puts up with her. Shruti says that she's just a kid and that's how they are. Sameer tells Shruti that Tanu has turned out just like Krishna and even he had a big mouth. He says that Krishna is dead now but he left his precious Tanu behind. Shruti tells Sameer not to talk about her brother that way and Sameer tells her to watch what she does the next time.
A while later Trishna announces that it's time for Pragati's engagement and tells the rest of the guests that since this is a family only thing, she wants them to go outside and enjoy the buffet. When everyone else leaves, Pragati walks in with Gunn, Vandana, Tanu and Sunaina's daughter. She sees Kamal standing at the landing of the staircase and tells him that she knows her Parvati Mama named her because her name means to move forward but today she's taking the biggest backward step in her life and this makes her realize that the meaning of her name ended with her Parvati Mama's life. Kamal is moved by these words and Pragati takes her place beside Neeraj Kumar.
Trishna encourages them to start off the ceremony and Bua ji brings out the rings. Neeraj can't even put Pragati's ring on without his mother's assistance because he's so drunk and Gunn tells Kamal about how Neeraj drinks all day and does nothing with his life. In return Kamal tells Gunn that Pragati suffered before she got married and now she'll suffer after marriage as well and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Gunn sees the tears in her daughter's eyes and tells herself that the Lakshmi of the house is being insulted on so many different levels and people are ignorant of the fate that befalls such houses. She prays to God saying that she has lost so much faith along the way but asks God to prove that he can still hear her by sending someone to stop this sin from taking place. Suddenly, out of no where and to everyone's surprise, just as Pragati is about to put Neeraj's ring on, Kamal asks her to stop.

Kamal answers Gunn's prayers by stopping the engagement and Parvati plans her next move. Thursday's excitement awaits on KGGK starring Ali Asgar, Purva Ghokale, Meeta Vashisht, Kiran Dubey with Aroona Irani and Saakshi Tanwar.
