Mumbai, Nov 20 (IANS) Sanchita Bhattacharya, the 13-year old winner of TV show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs", has belted out a sensuous item song to be picturised on actress Neha Dhupia in Rajat Kapur's forthcoming film "Mithya".
According to producers Planman Motion Pictures, "Sanchita was the perfect candidate since she's fresh, eager and vibrant. Her youth doesn't come in the way of her nuances. Sanchita has done a brilliant job."
Bhattacharya said: "I had to make sure that all the feelings came out right. Neha-ji has performed such foot-tapping item songs. I didn't want mine to be lost in the crowd. It was a racy number composed by new music director Sagar Desai."
"I enjoyed myself thoroughly. It was my first playback song. I hope to do lots more," Bhattacharya told IANS.
"I know I have a long way to go and I have to work hard. Right now my life is full of TV appearances and stage shows," she added.
