I knew it the second she started babbling like a kid in the car and he had a forlorn expression that they were going to a tombstone.
Her innocence.
Her hope.
Her anguish.
And Asad was there right next to her. He held her when she thought there's nothing left for her.
The way his heart broke when she went on and on about what she would say to her father.
The way her eyes lit up and the way he couldn't meet it in the car.
The way she begged him to make everything right and his hopelessness because he couldn't.
Perhaps amidst her tears he realised he could never let go of her. Perhaps in his arms she realised there was nothing to hold her back.

PS-As far as television is concerned not many managed to make me feel anguish but today Surbhi managed to take my heart by the noose.
