He stood up, wiped his tears. Then leaned forward to her and planted a kiss to her forehead and left just like every day.

"Another tragic story is going to repeat the history" said a doctor nodding head right and left.
"And again we can't do anything' I am having on myself that I am a Doctor. People thinks we can make miracles happen" said a junior Doctor, who is in his late twenties little emotionally.
Virat left his chair in frustration. His veins are shivering; he can't tolerate these negative talks anymore. "Let me complete my research. I just want a Daboia russelii to give final touch of the medicine. I am sure we can give the child a new life" he said determinedly.
"Daboia russelii"??? Are you serious?? That's a very dangerous and venomous snake!!" said a fellow senior doctor. "And who will bring it for you?" he said in a sarcastic tone.
"I have already told to an aadibasi, he started searching. He will give it to me just hold some hours.
"But how are you so sure? If he can't find that?" said the elderly Doctor tensed.
"I am having instinct he has found it." He said looking at the clock lost.
"But tell me what if'" the elderly Doctor's talk halted for a sudden knock at the door.
A lower division clerk came with a cell phone.
"Sir, your phone was ringing from past fifteen minutes. Maybe something urgent. So I bring it here." The clerk said and came towards Virat.
Virat hurriedly took the phone and dialed the number. The number is of an STD booth.
"Can you please call Aghaat to the booth now?" he blurted at the moment he understand someone has took receiver.
"Which Aghaat you want? The nepali one or'" the booth owner said lazily. May be he just opened his eyes from his siesta.
"Who came to your booth just 5 minutes ago. Call him NOW" he ordered.

Virat took the cottage near the jungle away from the town. He wanted to complete his deadly experiment in a lonely area. There was a security guard called Jung Bahadur, who helps Virat in household works.
It's raining from afternoon and there's no sign of stopping. Virat was roaming around his balcony and now and then checking the entrance of the cottage. Jung Bahadur may be in his house, because a faded tune of radio is coming from his hut.
Virat looked at his watch. It stroked 7. Half an hour ago he got a call that condition of the child is getting worse. The big wall clock danced seven times violently to make everyone knew that it was 7 pm then. Suddenlt the current went off. The entire area was covered with darkness. Only the light of thunderstorm was there, making the environment more mysterious. After searching for some minutes he found a candle and putted it to a candle stand.
kahin deep jale kahin dil'..
zara dekh le aa kar paravaane
teri kaun si hai manzil
kahin deep jale kahin dil
The radio was still on in the Bahadur's hut and the silence atmosphere was making the sound more hearable or Bahadur turned it loud.
Virat laughed a little, if Manvi would here, she surely would make fun of the atmosphere. Or maybe she would play any prank on him to make him afraid. A tear unknowingly flowed down to her cheeks. The warm touch of the liquid made him aware of the current situation. He rubbed his palm and went to grab his mobile just to call at the hospital to know about the child. Just then the door bell rang.
mera geet tere dil ki pukaar hai
jahaan main hun, vahin tera pyaar hai
The radio unbelievably sounded loud. A chilled shiver ran from his spine. He opened the door. There was nobody, and then his vision fell upon the main gate. There Bahadur was speaking with someone, actually some lady. He took a umbrella and walked towards the gate. The rain was pouring heavily that the umbrella couldn't help him to get wet.
The Bahadur was talking to her in their regional language.
"Shahabji, yeh dekhiye yeh keh rahi hain, aapne isko bulaya'Maine mana kiya par yeh he ki baat nahi maan rahi" The Bahadur said little irritated. The woman was wearing a regional Mekhla chadar drapped like a saree. The saree finished little below her knee. Small drops of rain was pouring from her saree to her navel and then downwards. She was totally drenched.

Her face was not visible due to the darkness and she covered her head with her saree. She had a bucket made of bamboo sticks in her hands, Virat looked at that curiously and asked,
"Kaun ho tum?(Who are you?)
naa main sapna hun, naa koi raaz hun
ek dard bhari aavaaz hun
piya der na kar, aa mil
"Main Bidehi shahab ji.. Aghat mere baba hain, unhone kaha upko yeh de aau. Dekhiye na bearish shuru ho gayi phir, aur yeh aapka noukar mujhe andar jaane nahi de raha main raat bhar kaha rukungi?"
"Andar aao tum" Virat said.
She entered the cottage. She was little shivering. Virat putted the umbrella on her head. Bahadur gave an angry glance towards them and stomped back to his hut to engross himself again in the music.
When they reached the building, Virat took the bucket hurriedly from her and went to his experiment room.
There were many snakes in various shaped glass room. Some taste tubes, some funnels, a small gas-oven and some little glass jars with green and blue venom.
Virat kept the bucket on a table and started to open the thread with which the bucket was bounded. He was near about done, he heard some footsteps, and He looked up. He found the very same lady, Bidehi. She laughed. Her face was not visible due to the darkness but the mysterious smirk made him conscious about the spooky environment.
Virat looked at her and asked softly, "kya hua?"
"shahabji, andhere me baksa kholenge? Saap ne kaat liya toh?" she laughed a little more.
"Hmm" he said little embarrassed and went to search for an emergency light. Seriously he should have thought it before. He was just too excited after getting the bucket. May be his dreams are not far now.
