Maybe so flirtatious on TV because a few months back there were reports about him being gay! He may be trying to foil that controversy by flirting with any breating female around.

Arshad Warsi mentioned it when he first introduced Vaid and Vaid also spoke about it. I think that is why the spoof with him having to romance/coax Bobby into giving him the protein shake routine.
