Excellent post!! I feel the same way. Everytime I hear about the delhi incident, I just get so upset, especially when some backward people are blaming the girl. Just boils my blood. But I am proud to be from US a country that honored her on woman's day. Truly an admirable action. Hope to see justice soon! 👏

Yeah I agree with you... Whenever something like this happens, people immediately start accusing the girl as if she was just asking for it... People need to that the girl is the victim of a crime and not the instigator...

What peeves me off is that its usually the family that gets the girl to remain mum about the whole thing lest they lose face in society..

I was just reading up on the topic and what really shocked me was that 95% of the time children who are molested or raped, the deed is done by adults who are known (relative) or otherwise close (friends) to the family, someone you can trust. Its only a measly 5% of the time that the abuser is completely unknown.
