novel has a sad ending...i m wondering what slb is going to do this story...its upto him...😕

I'm worried about that too. But SLB said that hes open to change so i think he's expecting fans to want a happy ending so he's not gonna put much of a fight. Plus the reason kumud couldn't get married to saras is because there were no divorces back than so what reason could they have to keep them apart in this day and age.

SLB always sticks to the original and this is what scares me hope we get a happy ending
but for now will enjoy watching the show

Although in one of the eps something that was said between kumud and kusum about saras something about kusum marrying him, that was like foreshadowing... so idk was that a hint that kusum is gonna get married to saras?...

But to be honest why would saras get married to kusum in the show, there would be no reason for it. What will make him have to marry her i mean in the book its so he'll be close to kumud in some way i think. I didn't really get why he married her in the book so idk. But saras getting married to kusum in the show would be so random. SO there is hope!

I'm sure SLB will change the story besides at the end of the promos he himself says 'Mukammal mohabbat ki adhoori dastaan...Jald hogi poori'...which is basically saying the incomplete love story will attain completion...so all I'll say is wait and watch...

Totally agree. He said himself that the story is incomplete. Also, I heard somewhere that he was planning to do like 1000/2000 episodes... At the fast rate the serials is going, I think SLB has a few twists and tricks up his sleeve, that's the only thing keeping me sane because I HATE sad endings. Who knows, SC marriage to kusum might not take place, maybe there will be a big dramatic twist during the wedding... typical bollywood style :p
Oh well, I don't care what the ending is, I'm just enjoying what we have already seen and the present.

The book had a sad ending but because this is more of a modern version and because its a tv show to make it for the viewers so the ending will be happy

As we know that SLB most movies have sad endings, and I once watched his interview, where he mentioned that sad ending love stories are more touching and seems real as not all love stories have positive ending so he would probably go with the novel way only. In fact, I was expecting that way only knowing it is made by SLB. Though I definitely like his movies and I am big fan of reading or writing sad stories but of course no one wants to have sad endings in life.
