Birth Control??

Hey guys I have just restarted watching this show 1 month ago after I left watching it after the Singapore track!This post just means to clear my doubt!No bashing please as you all know I am a big fan of DABH.

I watched the epi where Suraj told Sandhya after Bhabho demanded a grand kid that he doesn't want Sandhya to lose her aim and her father's wish so he will not conssumate his marriage! I found that little bit senseless on side of cv's!Conssumating marriage and having babies are two different things why can't they take their marriage to another level becoz just they don't want a baby?? Then why not use borth control?? I personally think it is high time for surya to conssumate their marriage as they both know they love eachother! Is there any other reason behind not conssumating? Am I missing something?

I cant quite remember what he said. Basically he doesn't want to consummate until she becomes an IPS! I think that's what he said!

Alina, actually we have discussed alot about this issue in our forum 😉 actually I'm not comfortable discussing about personal matters of surya 🤣 all I know is, Suraj doesnt want anything to distract Sandhya...

In most of the shows , the couple is not showen consummating their marriage soon after the marriage or for a long time , taking this step but here its different.. this will be considered a sin as bhabo is very orthodox... & surya are focused on sadhya's career plus are shy , but the cvs. can show sandhya being the educated one , going for birth control

Good point...and I think the take on this issue in DABH is highly unrealistic...and the so called romance that is being shown is child's play really 😆

I just wonder what the bid deal is about consummating a marriage...the whole hoo-ha regarding this aspect in serial is so unrealistic. Its a normal part of life and they always make it such a big deal, in one serail it will be consummation after achieving a goal, in another after sorting out all family problems...I just wonder why we are hellbent on neutering the characters in movies. This unholy fascination with the whole concept also shows societies reluctance to accept sex as a normal part of life...like its a dirty secret!

😆😆 my love with frustation thread started with this topic only... i agree it is totally unrealistic and i cannot understand onething why would a couple in love with no physcal or psychological problem don't want to cosummate..cvs have not given a logical answer to it... the reason looks philosophical than realistic...and they actually don't even need birth control there are natural ways to do that..😆 and i understand bhabho is from old school of thoughts but they don't need to tell bhabho,now c'mon its a matter between husband and wife and even if they don't tell bhabho it will not be a sin. but in daily soaps it is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity😆..to be frank sex is a way too overrated topic
