Parichay's Deepak Sandhu to enter Amrit Manthan

After a time leap of seven years, Rajan Shahi's Amrit Manthan will mark the entry of actor Deepak Sandhu, who will play Vishal, an overprotective brother. The girl, who will play the part of his sister is yet to be finalised.
Says Deepak, last seen in Parichay — Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, "It's not completely negative but it progresses into one slowly due to certain situations and incidents — one being his sister getting hurt by some people. There is a progressive change in Vishal'sbehaviour from white to grey, yet maintaining the moral fibre of humanity."
So, what's so unique about his character and the show? Pat comes the reply, "It is challenging to play a loving yet overprotective brother, who becomes lethal to the people who hurt his sister. It is something I've never played before."
Deepak is all set to impress the viewers with his acting skills. "Each show offers something unique. In AmritManthan, I'm introduced midway after a time leap. So, while other characters are established, my character has to find a foothold in the story," says he. When it comes to playing negative characters, Deepak's favourites are PrashantNarayanan in Murder 2, Ashutosh Rana in Sangharsh and Saif Ali Khan in Omkara.
