Lucky Sameer

Pls let me tell you that this is NOT another so called hate email. So based on this message pls do not label me or whoever agrees as Sameer hater or basher.. Pls refrain from such labelling.. If you have different opinion, I respect it but NO labelling pls...

If this news about Sameer being reinstated is correct, it is very very unfortunate news.. I personally did not find anything stellar in his both performances..

Kaike Paan was average no.. Only popular song and he sang in his usual voice... The song has a great mass appeal and hence his shortcomings in performance were coneveniently ignored.

His Dus bahane was even worse. His vice got cranky in may places.. Diwakar on other hand was better in that episode.. So he deserved more votes this time, as per my opinion.

I have heard many arguments in support.. Let me pre-empt attempts to refute..

Can you sing like him ?? - Answer is honest NO.

Do I have right in that case to pass judgement ?? -- Yes.. This is due to nature of show. We do not play cricket but that does not deter us from passing judgement on Sourav and Dravid's play.. We do no social work or enter politics but we still talk of who is corrupt and who is not.. I need not be singer to air my views..

Sameer has lotsa x-factor and sings great, has tremendous stage presence, makes stage lively.. -- I find no stage presence in him.. He is 11 year old and that seems to be big plus in his case.. Just dont comprehend what makes show lively with him aound.. He is not famous for any great intellignet conversation like Diwakar, not famous for dance, not funny, not tapori. He is understandably scared on screens at times and needs prop from Shaan at times.. He is not naughty, natkhat atleast I have not seen any such thing..So just dont understand where x-factor comes from..

He is great singer -- Nasal one. Most of time "rut ke gaat hain." Does not perform during song.. No great facial expressions which will interest viewers.

Everyone has ups and downs..-- Jagjit singh rightly pointed his faults. about weak sur and faulty breathing.. Alka infact said she was planning to give B to him.. Worst grade in the contest. He has lots of downs. Sanchita has nly one B+.

Do I know more than judges. They kept him.. -- Well no.. They are all great people.. But do not agree with there judgement in his case ..

Why target Sameer ONLY ?? - Becos he is not deserving for long time. He was eliminated in auditions and then made with ordinary singing.. He was criticised a lot but was never eliminated.. Many people feel hurt with this falgrant injustice to other deserving ones.. Diwakar has been targeted as well.. well by below the belt comments..

And about Sanchita.. Well what can you say anything wrong about her performances etc ?.. She is miles ahead and its unfortunate that she has to compete with him at the final stage as there were really worthy opponents...

His voice is undergoing changes..-- Well too bad.. Based only on sur, voice quality, its bad.. If in few more years it gets better, he deserves to be back in game.. Best luck for that!! But not in this contest...

Also I feel sad to see people tryig to divide between Sameer fans and Sameer haters etc... People even commenting about.. Usko Kaise bi winner banayenge.. It may be a good idea to identify ourselves so much with a person so much.. People seem to be taking personally to win him. I myself try and decide based on every episode and try voting based on performance.. They are all kids.. Lets be fair to them

Correct. The title should have been Lucky Diwakar and not Lucky Sameer. Just ask Neha and Abro.

You can argue your point until the cows come home, but the fact is that the judges have seen something in Sameer and also the public,it will be boring without him in the coming shows, I dont care what you say, the public like him and the judges like him and he will perform in the grand finale and that is all that matters.

THE Judges obviously like him and the crowd relatively follows the judges opinion. You pointed out the B he was about to get in "one" performance, but you fail to see that Abrokhanti and him have got the most hampers. This means he has excelled in performances beyond others. THe last few weeks he has got either the highest or second highest votes. Beyond that he is a brilliant performer and makes the show enjoyable.

You are entitled to your own opinion based on whether you liked his voice or singing. I did not enjoy Abhro's singing, but many people really liked him and I respect that. But the pt is Sameer has been getting quite high grades based on merit. Infact, I think he should definitely be the second runner up.

If there is somebody to question it is Diwaker because he has not got high grades and has always been behind the others. That's just my pov....

I think this show can be called just a show or may be a serial made to look like a competition. In a competition you have to have a set of rules made available to public and nobody including the organizers are entitled to break the rules of the game. But here

1) The judges are sometimes giving marks based on emotion (In one episode Abhijeet and Alka Yagnik gives A++ to Abhrokanti and Bappi Lahiri gives just A which happened after a seemingly hot fight between Bappi Lahiri and Abhijeet !)

2) All the marks are known and clear which of the contestants will be out but behold this time they have decided that no one will be out. In the following episode the one who would have survived based on last episode's performance, is now judged based only the following episode and is eliminated as per the rule (Diwakar was out whereas Shraddha would have been eliminated in the earlier episode)!

3) Public is shown shouting for brining back one of the eliminated " We want XXXX .." . The organizers decide to bring back one of the eliminated contestants and ask the viewing public to vote. XXXX is back. Have we ever seen our batsman heroes brought back after they have lost their wicket?

4) Public is asked to vote for the contestants and the show judges think public just ordinary people and may be just children and says the public "You vote only based on our grading to the contestants.." . They often question the voting public but fume when someone questions their judgment.

5)Grown up people including the Judges fight like kids using no so decent language. People might think that these judges are about to leave the show. You see in the next episode one judge is not present .. but he enters little late and
then says that he does not know what all were happening to him in the last episode and how he might have insulted others unknowingly. Honorable judge , I thought this was supposed to be a music competition for children but was not told that it is also going to be judged by children !!!

6)All the elements of a drama tragedy, comedy , love etc are present in this series.

Now it looks like a one of the most perfect drama, which is meticulously executed by some Virtuoso Director to me.

Diwakar should have been out before Gurpreet on the basis of the judges gave. Apart from that, when Protik was out, Alka said that the judges could not excuse the one who had been two last ones twice and Diwakar had been there thrice but what happened....he was in and Gurpreet was out. Gurpreet mom's had every right to fight back. Diwakar was chosen back by public votes (and i doubt the numbers were ever true...is there any valid satisfying way to prove that those numbers are TRUE???No! The show is all about business and fooling audiences). I never knew that Sameer was eliminated in the audition. If so, whoever was there was too tired to listen to his talent otherwise he didn't surely make final 3 just by X factors. Why are people pointing his one B grade in Jagjit's episode?? Do you know that alll famous singers are not Ghazal singers? Can you dare to hear Jagjit singing Don song???Have you ever looked at judges when it came to grade Diwakar. They look so much in pain because they know he is Blind and Smart kid with brain but musicwise he is nowhere Abhro or Pawni but still they appreciated him with guilt so as not to get attacked by public because they are also public figures. How many times did he disappoint judges?? Because of him, other talents are being discouraged. And i don't still believe that Sameer was 120 votes behind him....it all is well pre-planned NATAK by Gajji.
THE VERY MISTAKE GAJJI DID WAS TO BRING DIWAKAR BACK OTHERWISE EVERYONE WAS SATISFIED WITH THE SHOW.
