Our favourite moments!! (New year Special)
It was the New Year eve and Khushi was standing by the well lit poolside and gazing at the stars.A happy dreamy smile on her face. This year had brought her so many happiness and joy that her heart felt full and content.
A cool wind blew and suddenly her heart beats began raising faster.She placed a hand over her racing heart with a smile and knew the reason for her happiness is standing just behind her.
A second later , she felt his arms around her waist as he hugged her from behind.Khushi sighed happily and whipered "Arnavji " when she felt his breath on her neck before he began nuzzling her nape with his nose and later nibbling it with his lips making her gasp aloud.
When Arnav entered their room after coming from office,he was greeted with the sight of his beautiful wife standing in moonlight and the well lit fairy lights around the pool and trees casted a glow around her making her look like an angel.His heart raced and his face broke into an admiring smile when he caught the happy dreamy look on her face as she gazed at the stars.
His legs carried him on its own to her and made him wrap his arms around her.She smelled of lavender as he nuzzled her neck with his nose and later began nibbling it.After giving well deserved attention to her nape,he placed his chin on her shoulder and he too began gazing at the stars.
After minutes of comfortable silence,Arnav murmured "Khushi humari parents se baat kar rahi ho? " ( Khushi are you talking to our parents? )
At his question,Khushi smiled wide and nodded "Haan Arnavji humari amma babuji aur aapki amma babuji se baath kar rahe hain "(Ya Arnavji am talking to mine and your parents )
Arnav smiled and turned around to look at her happy smiling face "Acha kya baat kar rahi thi?Mere shikayat toh nahi kar rahi thi na? (Ya? What were you talking about?You weren't complaining about me right? ) he asked smirking. Khushi smiled looping her arms around his and placed her head on his shoulder "Hum yeh batha rahe the ki hum kitne khush naseeb hai ke hume aap jaise bohot pyaar karne wala pati mila aur hume itna pyaara parivaar mila " ( I was just telling them that am very lucky to have such loving husband and a very loving family )
Arnav smiled and cupped her cheek "Khushi am the lucky one to get you in my life.Tumne mujhe pyaar ka matlab sikhaya,Pyaar karna aur pyaar jatana sikhaya.Khushi main tumhare aane se pehle yeh stars or bhagwan mein vishwas nahi karta tha.But now am sure tumhe mera maa ne mere liye beja hoga "(Khushi am the lucky one to get you in my life.You taught me the meaning of love,And taught me how to love and how to express love.Khushi before you came to my life I never believed on stars or god but now am sure that my mom had sent you for me ) he said pointing his finger at the brightly shining star winking at them from the sky.
Khushi smiled her eyes filled with tears at his words.Arnavji aapko yaad hai pichle saal humare zindagi mein kya kya huva tha? " (Arnavji do you remember what all happened last year in our lives?)
Arnav smiled at the memory "Haan.Infact I still vividly remember the first time my eyes fell on you.Tum stage pe ek frightened kitten ke tharah khade rahi thi.But very beautiful in that green lehenga.Aur jab tum pehli baar mere bahon mein gir gayi, I was so mesmerized with your scared eyes and quivering lips "(Ya.Infact I still vividly remember the first time my eyes fell on you.You were standing on the stage like a frightened kitten but very beautiful in that green lehenga.And when you fell in my arms for the first time, I was so mesmerized with your scared eyes and quivering lips) he smiled as he recollected their very first meeting.
Khushi smiled too as she thought about their first meeting.She too was captivated by his deep brown eyes.Khushi smiled "Aur tab se hum dhono kitne jagda karte the .Aap toh humesha hum pe chilate the.Par jab hum dhono nanital mein phas gaye the aap hume un gundon se bachaya.Us din hume aise lagatha ki aap unhe mardalenge " (From that time we used to fight so much and you always yelled at me.But when we were stranded in Nanital you saved me from those rogues.That day I felt as if you kill him )
Arnav face clenched at the memory "Haan Khushi I couldn't tolerate that some guy had the guts to lay his hands on you" He smirked "Ya probably I would have killed him if you dint stop me "He then cupped her cheeks and lightly kissed her forehead.
"Khushi tumhe yaad hai,When I came to see you when your babuji was admitted in hospital,you ran into my arms and cried.Tab mein bohot confused ho gaya tha apne feelings ke baaren mein.I wanted to hug you back but something stopped me " He whispered looking into her eyes.
Khushi smiled at his admission that she had afftected him even then."Haan hume yaad hai.Aur aapko pata hai jab bhi aap humare paas aaye the humare dil ki dhadkhane tez ho jathe the.Par tab hume laga woh dhak dhak acidity ki waje se hua " She smiled sheepishly.
Arnav smirked quirking his eyebrow amused "Oh really? Acidity? " Khushi grinned sheepishly.Arnav chuckled and pointed to the lights "Khushi you remember yahi poolside pe you were standing surrounded by lights and I had taken it all out of you slowly.You looked like a goddess lit by those fairy lights " He smirked at her and continued "I loved the way you breathed heavily when I touched you that day.You started reacting to me and I admit I loved touching you "
Khushi blushed at the memory and nodded.Her heart still beat thinking of how he touched her that day."Aur diwali ki raat,aap ne humari amma ki payal loutaya uske baad humari bohot khareeb aaya aur phir ---hume--- " (On Diwali night you returned my mom's anklet and came very close to me then----) she blushed at the memory of their almost kiss.
Arnav smirked as the memory of their almost kiss played out before him."Khushi you looked so beautiful and edible that day that I lost all control over my senses when I looked at you.All I wanted was to kiss you,let the consequences be damned but then Aman ka phone aagaya ,I came to my senses aur tum bach gayi " She blushed at his smirking comment.
She hugged him shyly,her arms encircling his waist and his arms too weaved through her slender waist and caressed her back lovingly as he spoke "Khushi I challenged you on sangeet and wanted to win it just to see you losing.But then you imitated me and made me laugh so much.I fell some more for you then and when you stood alone on stage, I couldn't bear to see you sad.That moment the challenge or competition dint matter to me and even though am not good in dancing I danced with you " He chuckled.
"Hum uss pal ko bhool nahi sakte .Hume yakeen nahi ho raha tha ki aap humari sach nache.Woh bhi salmanji ka teri meri ghaane " ( I cant forget that moment.I couldn't believe that you danced with me that too on salman's teri meri song) She smiled wide as she snuggled more closer to his chest pressing her face at the crook of his neck.
Arnav dropped a kiss on her hair and pulled away from the hug to look at those dazzling hazel eyes which always prompted him to fall into those deep depths."My personal favourite memory is mehendi wala din.That was the first time I kissed you right here in this poolside " He smirked at her and kissed both her cheeks relieving the fond memory.
Khushi blushed "Aur hum bhi pehli baar aapke gaal pe kiss kiya yahi poolside pe" (And I also kissed you for the first time on your cheek on this same pool side )
"Khushi thinking back NK was right.He said at the strike of midnight whomever face you see,you will spend your entire life with them.And due to some crazy circumstances we end of seeing each other at midnight and am grateful to NK for that " Arnav said smiling fondly.
Khushi smiled widely at the memory,even at that time they fought but both of them felt happy to have seen the other's face at midnight.
"Aur Arnavji hum uss pal ko nahi bhool sakte jab aap pehli baar humse phone pe 'I love you Khushi ' kaha tha aur dhoosri baar jab dadiji ne hum dhono ko chath pe dheka tha " (And Arnavji I can never forget the moment when you told me 'I love you Khushi ' for the first time over phone.And the next time when Dadiji saw us together on the terrace) Khushi said her eyes dreamy thinking about the memory when she was literally flying up in the sky as he said those 3 words to her in his own style.
Arnav smiled and lightly kissed her lips "And Khushi I cant forget the moment you said 'Hum bhi aapse I love you dammit ' that moment you made me feel like am the happiest man in the whole world "
Khushi blushed at that,She thought that was the way to say 'I love you' at the that time.She kissed his cheek and looking into his eyes "Par humare sab se khaas pal tho woh hai jab aapne pure parivaar ki aashirwad ke saath humse shaadi ki "( But a very important moment for me was the time when we got married with the entire family blessings )
Arnav looked into those beautiful eyes of hers and smiled.At that moment the big wallclock in their room began to ding showing 12am infoming them about the arrival of Newyear.
Khushi and Arnav looked at the time and smiled at each other "Happy Newyear Arnavji "
"Happy New Year Khushi " Arnav kissed her sweetly on her lips while laying his hands on her protruding tummy.He caressed the swollen bulge fondly and whispered near her lips "Khushi this new year is going to be even more memorable as we will have our Junior Raizada with us " Khushi smiled happy tears shining in her eyes as she covered her own hands on top of his.
They both looked up at the brightly shining stars and silently thanked them for bestowing such happiness on them. And they vowed to themselves to love and take care off each other and their soon to be baby for eternity.
