TOI: Behna to go off air..actors clueless

Telly show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (EHMMBH) was in the news for the trouble between its two male leads, Karan Tacker andKushal Tandon.

But recently, the two patched up and just when all was well, there is buzz that the serial will go off air. Says a source, "It will end in the latter half of February. There is no specific reason behind this decision, as the show is raking in decent TRPs. But the channel has some interesting shows lined up, which they want to bring in."

Producer Siddharth Malhotra, however, denied the buzz. He said, "I am not aware of it. No hint or information from the channel has been given to us. Neither have we been told by them there is reason to worry."

Actors' take on the buzz

Nia Sharma: The show is going through a low phase and because of that, such rumours have surfaced. It's safe for the next six to eight months.

Krystle D'souza: These are just rumours. We've got no intimation and will soon go for an outdoor shoot.

Kushal Tandon: Really? I have no idea. I don't know if it's going off air, but even if it is, so what? What starts has to end.

Karan Tacker: I have absolutely no idea. I have just returned to Mumbai from Goa.
