Hey guys…here's an OS from me, hope you'll like it….
Rey sadly looked at his phone as he saw vicky's 18th missed call on his phone….all in all he had missed at least fifty calls of his friends. He just wanted to stay alone…. Yeah… he was so lonely….no he…he wanted to stay with her, with hands entwined, her cute smile, her caring, bubbly nature, with genuine happiness…..he wanted her to be with him around to shower him from her affections….but every time they talk, they end up screwing things badly than before…. Why…why….why….?? Why they couldn't be together happy…..??
Suddenly his phone rang again, he was about to cut the call, but as he saw who was calling….he picked it.
"Hey Sharon….what's up?" he asked trying to hide the pain in his voice.
"I'm fine…but looks like you aren't….. what happened….congrats….tum log match jeet gaye…"she said.
"Yeah….we won….and I'm fine….just tired….tell me….what happened…?" he asked.
"Okay then listen…..fine…bye" she told him something.
"But….i think that I won't be able…."Rey tried to say something.
"Rey….main tumse kuch request nahin kar rahi hoon…. You have to do it….come on let it be my new year gift…..please…."she forced.
"Okay fine….i'll do it."Rey had to say finally….
"Damn…what's this now…?" he blurted out after cutting the call, when he's trying to stay aloof from everything which reminds him of her…..whatever reminiscences are there of her, he wanted to shut them all somewhere….but was it possible to do it….everything, everywhere, every moment, she seemed around….in front of mirror his hands unconsciously rise to caress his own cheek remembering how she wiped his tears. The main door of his house, made him remember that how she came for the very first time…. Bloody hell….she was everywhere.
However he started to do what his best friend has told him to do….
Next day, on 31st December morning, he again got up…. Same way as last few months….with the dreams of Taani, which tormented him every moment of his life. On the top of that every morning used to start with a ray of hope that today may be the day when every problem, every misunderstanding will fade away from his life…. That today Taani will be with him, she will entwine her hands in his, that she'll caress him softly and he would confine himself in her….he could shatter down in her embrace and tell her that how much he loves her, that she was the only person who could touch his soul like this…. To hold her in his arms and to lose himself in her smile, in her deep mesmerizing grey eyes, to lose each other in an embrace….but cruel destiny, though there was no distance between them, they were still miles apart.
In the noon he messaged everyone to gather at his home, although everyone questioned, but he still managed to convince the gang to come at oberoi hotel. He didn't called Taani as he knew that if he called up, she may avoid the party….and whatever are the things, he wanted to see her on new year's beginning. So he asked Swayam to tell her to come, and he told girls to bring her…. Everyone knew that there is some tension between the two, so girls without telling her, insisted to come her along.
Taani was a bit late in the party, and she told Swayam to go, she'll come by herself.
Everyone gathered in the hall of the hotel, which was booked by Rey for the night. There was quite darkness there, and then a spotlight came on a person, and as she turned…..it was Sharon. Lights were turned on, and immediately she was embraced in a group hug. Everyone felt so happy, to see her with them on new year party…. Suddenly Taani entered in the party, and everyone was stunned to see her. She was looking absolutely gorgeous, beyond this world…. And Rey was again lost in her.

As she saw Sharon, she just went to her, hugged her tightly…..sharon too was really glad to meet her…. Therwas something very simple, sweet in taani's behavior, which made the two really good friends.
Sharon looked at her and said…. "Wow…main aayi aur mujhe st. Louis ki new diva mil gayi….hmmm….?"
Taani blushed a bit, and said…. "Vo toh aap ho, aur aap hi rahoge…."
Everyone was happy, Swayam was happiest, Sharon was back, though he hadn't got the chance to talk with her in private.
Then Sharon called everyone….. and started saying…. "Guys I know ki it was a surprise….main tum sabko surprise dena chahti thi, and ab main uss insaan ko ek surprise dena chahti hoon jo mujhe sabse jyada, mujhse bhi jyada samjhta hai…." She said so, and went up to Swayam…. "Swayam..i love you…itne din tumse door rehne ke baad mujhe samajh aaya ki main tumse kitna pyaar karti hoon….i love you….can we be together…." She said blushing hard.
Swayam was shocked…..everyone was stunned beyond limits…..this would be an understatement of the millennium. And what happened next was no less a surprise…. Swayam smiled with teary eyes, picked Sharon in his arms and took her from the party.
All the gang was discussing about Swayam and Sharon while Rey and Taani were still aloof…. But both couldn't help and kept glancing here and there.
Suddenly Neha said…. "Neha thinking that why shouldn't we dance…?"
"Yeah…good idea babe… rey, aren't here arrangements for music…." Simmi asked.
However rey was engrossed in his own world, world of dreams where he and Taani lived happily always….
"rey…Rey…rey…" after calling him many times more, rey was snapped out of his thoughts.
"what guys…" he finally replied.
"Dude….tu aajkal kahan lost rehta hai…? Matlab… tu to…" nil asked, but he cut him short.
"Haan haan bol na…kya hua….?"
"Are rey koi music ke arrangements nahin hai kya….?"Simmi asked.
"Music…music….nahin vo…vo toh yaad hi nahin raha…" he replied.
"Guys I do have an idea….why don't we come in the discotheque which is just in this hotel….what say…?" Rinni suggested.
"Ale haan..yehi kitna achha itea hai….(are haan ye kitna achha idea hai.)" amar said.
"Yeah fine… and guys come but as today is new year eve, so we have to enter in couples… we all are fine…but rey and Taani…..guys tum log saath mein aa jao na…" Vicky said.
As Taani heard it….. her gaze fixed at rey, who too couldn't help but look at her.
Everyone entered as couple and all were busy in dancing…. While rey and Taani were sitting quite apart from each other, but glancing at each other.
Suddenly rey noticed someone near Taani….and Taani, she too was smiling with him….he was extremely jealous….as he saw her smiling with him, talking to him, so happily….why couldn't she be with him like this….? He would do anything to keep this smile always on her face…. For him it was the only face which came before anything in the world…and she…she was smiling with him…
Wait…wait…he had seen this guy before too…where…..gosh ….. "think rey….think rey…oh f**k….damn it…it's one of shivam's friends"…he remembered when he had beaten him in their college, and when in dance camp shivam was talking to him…. "no…no…taani shouldn't be with him…. I should check…" thought so rey, and as he turned, neither there was Taani nor there was that guy. He was simply shuddered for a moment.
"Damn…she may be in problem…." Rey thought so he rushed towards the drink counter, where Taani was sitting…. He quickly grabbed the guy who was serving drinks and asked…. "Wo ladki jo yahan thi….dark pink dress mein, aur ek ladka uske saath unkone kya drink li thi…?"
The guys was nervous, and he was stammering…when Rey held his collar tightly, and said…. "Look if it's what for which you aren't telling me anything…keep it…" Rey said so and kept all the cash he had that time….
"Wo…wo…us ladke ne fruit punch liye the….but madam ki drink mein with drugs…." He finally spitted out.
"What….how can you do this….just for a bit of money….tumhe pata bhi hai ki us ladki ke saath kya ho sakta hai…?? But listen..agar use kuch bhi hua…toh…I'm gonna destroy everything…." Rey said in anger, although tears were dripping from his eyes…..
"Taani…taani…. What if something happened to her…..no…no…Taani… Taani….." he was unable to think, his thoughts were just freezed….he fell on his knees, completely broken, shattered as if a soulless body.
