Chapter 3

"Well done Kiya, the song is just perfect." My music teacher said.

"But you didn't even hea—" She cut me off again.

"I don't need to! You are a perfect student." I faked a smile.

"Thanks" I walked back to my seat, I could feel someone looking at me, I looked up and my eyes got in contact with KD's eyes, I smiled and he glared. I looked down and kept writing the lyrics of my new song.

I walked out of the studio. I called Varsha and asked her if she was dropping me but she said she had to go meet her boyfriend and I was abandoned.

"Dammit!!" I screamed. I started walking. My house was 1 hour away from the studio.

I saw a black car stopping infront of me and the window rolled down, "Need a ride?" KD asked.

I smiled, "Sure." I got into the back seat.

I took my guitar out, I didn't want it to be awkward for both of us.

I started playing my favorite,

"Can you stop it?" KD asked me and look up to me up from the rearview mirror and he saw my tear eyes. I could see the hurt in his eyes.

"Crocodile tears." He mumbled.

"What did u say?" I asked him, I kept my guitar inside its case.

"Nothing."

"KD if you wanna say something to me say it to my face." I said to him.

Its been 1 year and 5 months! He needs to grow up. It hurts me more than it hurts him, cause I lost 2 people. He taunts me with every chance he gets. It hurts me. I am a human not an angel.

I leaned against the window and zoned off.

"Kiya get up!" KD said sternly.

I opened my eyes, "huh?" I rubbed them.

"We are home." I opened the door and walked outside.

KD was beside me. He leaned near my ear, "You meant everything to me." And with that he walked away.

"You meant everything to me." I smiled after him and walked into my house, "Hey honey!"

"mom you're back!" I hugged her, "I missed you"

"I missed you too." She pulled away from the hug and said, "Raina is back home!"

Raina is back?! I missed her so much! I ran to Uncle Prakash's house (Panchi's dad)

"Raina is back?!!" I asked Aunty Dimple.

"Yes sweetie she is here." She pointed at Raina, who was hugging KD. She was KD's and Panchi's younger sister, she was 13.

Aunt Dimple asked the kids to be alone for a while and left with Uncle Prakash. I ran up to hug her.

She moved back, "Don't touch me."

I was little taken back, "why Rain?"

"You hurt my brother!" I looked at KD and he shifted his eyes.

I half smiled, "You don't know the whole thing"

"Then tell me." Raina demanded.

"Can't.." My eyes got teary, "Excuse me." I walked into the back yard and saw Aunt Dimple (She was alone there) . I ran to hug her and hugged her, "I love him." I cried my heart open.

"I know sweetie." She rubbed my back, "What you did was right."

"Then why does KD hate me?" I asked her.

"He loved you too."
