@prabba they are going to have these ghosts with them for a long time. Not only PTSD, but survivors guilt will play a role as well. Its an elementary school, these kids are way to young to have to face this.

i read about how police officers made the kids close their eyes when they were being led out of the school, about some kids being covered in blood.

And the worst thing is reading all these comments on twitter and news articles saying how people are overreacting, what about the kids dying in Gaza every day. And all I can say to these people is that no one is putting less value on the kids that are killed in Gaza but does that mean we shouldnt mourn over these kids?

Some people have such a one tracked mind, its ridiculous. Since when did caring about one group of children getting killed here in the states make you someone who doesnt give a damn about the kids being massacred in a war zone?

What Morgan Freeman says is so true, Arti. This is the reason I stopped "watching" news a couple of years ago! I used to get so upset with all the wrong things ahppening in the world and it used to drag my "quality of life " down with it! The media feeds off of negative things happening all the time. Its almost as if the media is waiting to latch on to the next "bad" thing and milk it for however long they can! I, for one was unable to digest it any longer. Even now, I look at "news", mostly online (almost never on TV), make up my own mind. If I read op-ed now, its related to arts or sciences!

And what an actor, Morgan Freeman! From such a humble background. Truly inspirational!
