I would call this chapter an ode to love...you masterfully crafted and elaborated on three love stories in this narrative!
1) Imad-Anjali--Imad's guilt over not recognizing Anjali's handicap! Completely being smitten by her. Understanding her reluctance to want something more, but not giving up!!!
2) The Nawab & Ashlesha--what a poignant conversation between Anjali and him! The brooch that he keeps so close to him...always! I absolutely give you full kudos for understanding yearning and what true love is! Yes, there is an afterlife! And in the Hindu tradition, there are 7 lives...so even if Ashlesha could not become his in this lifetime, the chapter is not closed!
3) Arnav-Khushi: I find it heartwarming that nobody among the Raizadas and the Awadhs wants ArHi to have a similar fate to the young Nawab and his beloved! The comparison between the two couples is inevitable; similarities abound! The last part of the chapter when Khushi leaves the bathroom is gut wrenching! I could ttly feel the Nawab's pain...his sense of deja-vu if you will...how would he tell Khushi? How would he console himself!?
Khushi and Imad each trying to play Cupid to the other! Adorable! Arnav misunderstanding Khushi's intentions...I couldn't help but think of the numerous times Khushi has apologized to ASR on the show...each time as an obligation...each time a mockery made out of her apology! Arnav here could only think of an apology from him as public humiliation for him & his family! He cannot voice his pain, guilt, his remorse...Again, a misunderstanding! So sad...
Lovely to see NK here too...
Ooohhh...what a cliffhanger! I am an eternal optimist so I think the outcome will be very favorable in part 9!😃
