Hainaa?! Honestly, if I was asked to choose between these words of LM and an award for SI, I'd definitely go for the former. You know how when an actor receives an award, the fans of his competitor argue that it was unfair, that their favorite deserved it more, etc, etc. But here no one can contest this acknowledgement of SI by her director LM. I am soo soo soo happy that it is LM who stated these words and not Gul, or one of her other costars...

I agree what you are saying and I didn't say that making good money should be the only criteria for others to recognize you (I mentioned type of roles she may get as just one another example. There are many more).

If you refer to Maslow's pyramid of human needs especially "esteem", it has both components i.e. internal and external and both are important. Sometime in deciding the priority, you have to think about others too who are either connected to you or depend on you. It cannot always be about yourself but agree that everyone has their own criteria of what is important and they should evaluate their life within those parameters rather than dictated by others benchmarks.

She showed us that YOU can single handley make a show run without a male lead.. Not once have I heard her complain about anything..!!

i may sound dramatic bt i had tears in my eyes reading this .. finally shez getting the appriciation she deserves nd by a person like Lalit sir whom i respect a lot..this is really a big big big compliment.. sanaya irani rocks ..she rocks the rockingness! what a word 😆... ❤️

Oh yes, our Ms. Sunshine is pure dedication. I love the fact that he referred to her as dedicated, intelligent, the best actress. These are the qualities that I always associated with SI. The bestest part of it is the fact that she never makes a big deal out of anything. Remember Daljeet saying that SI does not take her fame seriously. Could I love her anymore? Hell no! Or I guess YES. Cuz the more I learn about this girl, the more I fall in love with her, BAS.

Arey myself too had tears of happiness! It's maybe due to the fact that I wanted her recognition so badly but it never happened... The show ended, but she did not receive her due credit. But then it came on a day when I never expected it! This experience confirms the saying "Never say 'never!'"
