Dubai Returned...

The entire cast and crew of Kasamh Se were recently in Dubai on a holiday-cum-shooting trip

It was a trip that the entire Kasamh Se gang was looking forward to. For Prachi Desai aka Bani, it was her first ever trip abroad. It was a first time for Naman Shaw (Pushkar) and Roshni Chopra (Pia) too. And giving them company were producer Ekta Kapoor, deputy creative director Nivedita Basu and the other technicians from the production house. It was supposed to be a holiday-cum-work for the actors but there was one guy who was working round the clock. Actor Ram Kapoor says that he didn't know how the day would start and end. "I was shooting non-stop. To begin with, Dubai was so hot that we used to get exhausted very soon. We'd start shooting at 2 pm and continue till 6 in the morning," informs Ram.

Well, it was the same with other actors. Prachi and Roshni would pack up at 10 pm and head straight to the venue where Ekta organised her party. The entire crew was put up at Hyatt Regency in Dubai, where everybody would party every night.

But while the others enjoyed after pack-up, Ram preferred to hit the pillow as soon as his work got over. "I had to put in extra hours because most of my scenes were either with Bani (Prachi) or Pia (Roshni). They'd do their scenes and push off early while I had to struggle with my solo scenes. Though Ekta would call me everyday and insist that I join them, I somehow couldn't," says Ram.

Naman and Roshni would often tease Ram showing off their over-laden shopping bags to him. "It was only on the last day of the shoot, when I managed to do my last minute shopping. In less than one hour I picked up whatever I could for my daughter and wife Gautami," says Ram. But Ram isn't complaining. The actor tasted the fame and the adulation of his life in Dubai. "I didn't know the show is so popular in Dubai. I had never experienced getting mobbed."

Ask him what he brought back for himself and he says, "Great memories!"
