It is a dream come true for Chetan Hansraj, aka Sasha of Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii. The actor has recently bought a new flat at Bandra. For me Bandra is home, says Chetan, who currently lives in a duplex flat in Khar. I have lived in Bandra ever since I was a kid and I am very comfortable here. The flat I grew up in was bought by my dad. It's a new high to buy a house with your own money.
So, when did his dream materialise? I got possession of the flat a few days back. Finally, after clearing the payments of the builders, I can call myself the proud owner of my own house, he smiles.
Meanwhile, Chetan's wife Lavina has taken the responsibility of doing the interior decoration. My brother is an architect. I've asked him too to help us out with the interiors, he says. The Hansrajs are spending a lot of time nowadays, shopping for their new house. The have already done a lot of redesigning within the house. They even had to break down some of the walls and redo the flooring to give it a face-lift.
Chetan is leaving no stone unturned to make his house look elegant. It's a 2BHK flat with lot of space and that's what made me invest in it, says Chetan.
However, the actor hasn't sold his old flat in Khar. My parents live there. Lavina and I will move into our new flat when it's ready, informs Chetan.
On the work front, the actor is busy with his roles in Kahanii and Dharti Ka Veer-Prithviraj Chauhan. I'm also excited about my role in Nari Hira's Brahm. It's a well etched-out role. After a long time I will be playing a positive character, which will be a surprise for the audiences, he says.
