The production house wanted to shut the show for a long time for whatever reason which I still fail to understand Why would someone wants to shut the most popular show nationally and internationally.. I fail to Understand this big time 😕 Barun has been made a scapegoat in this whole fiasco 😭 I really feel for him as he is the most humbled and wonderful human being and does not at all deserve to go through all this 😭 Poor Barun wherever you are I wish you all the success in your future always 😳

My thoughts - how much ever you bashed the PH and demanded for a different PH to bring the team together - of course that same magic can NEVER be recreated unless it is 4lions. They really know how to work the chemistry and the magic. Gul GETS the Mills an Boon story! And they picked the right people to portray the characters. Its them - they MADE the show, they made us crazy after every nuance of Arnav and Khushi. How in the world could anyone imagine that a new PH could keep it going to recreate it like they did. No one has made a show with such beautiful romance in a long long time.

Yes it changed as it went along, yes it was flawed, yes we only watched it for Arnav and Khushi BUT the Arnav and Khushi that kept it going for us was all the PH. So you just can't take it away from them and its hard to imagine the same strength of romance chemistry and passion could be created so well by any random PH...

I agree that the whole IPKKND happened because of a team work. We all make mistakes. I think Gul is nicer and more considerate to us fans then any one else. She has spoken with Barun and I think she was willing to give him a break. In addition I was under the impression that Viraf was not going to replace barun.
In any case, there is a saying that,"Kutte ke bhaukne se chand ki roshani kam nehi ho jati."
As for her having the copyrights and giving away her rights to SP is a very illogical demand. People think twice before giving away the recipe of their cooking and here it is an entire show, a show which gave her international recognition, a show which she has worked, a team which she worked to assemble, and a team which she had to balance in times of complaints. We know that Daljeet, Akshay, Deepali, Barun all wanted to leave at one time or other. She still negotiated with them to stay back. I appreciate the whole team to come forward that Barun is going on a break. Not for once did she say that Barun was leaving for a movie.
So yes I want 4 lions to start IPKKND season 2 with the same team and specially SARUN. After all she in not like some other director who have such huge ego and wrapped thinking that when fans ask them for a pair she promises not to bring them together. I heard some other director also blacklisting one because she dared to go to another show. That is not our Gul.

They lost complete interest in the show, and it showed very clearly...

Every character in every show is due to the creative team...but a good producer is one who feels for and wants the product right till the end.

In this show the fans were far far far more invested in the show when compared to the producres and that is abundantly clear from their post on Forum 32...

So why should we thank anyone here?

They need to write the story and sell it to the people who can sustain in.

That's all

They need to become writers ONLY, not producers, they are not capable of managing the production

And all those meaningless interviews with Barun etc - what was the meaning of that ?

My dear - while I understand your anger and hurt, please don't hurt yourself with it - this kind of anger does you no good, and such words won't either. I am also hurt, but we ourselves need to decide what we will do with the anger and hurt, and my dear, such words and thoughts are not good. Please . ( I am not a PH suporter - I think they did a shoddy job with IPK, and led to its demise, and are now finding ways and people to clear their name)

Agree it was GUL 's story writers who gave us IPKKND.

BUT
Why did she give us crap tracks?
Why she didn't give the actors proper costumes?
Why she didn't give us other locations other than RM, GH or Arnav's office? i.e. hardly we got to see other locations
Why did the show deteriorate in quality? IPKKND was so good till PAYASH's wedding but after that why did we have many crap tracks?
Why were the other cast sidelined & used as props?
Why were there so many loop holes in the story?
Why was RM's washroom set so bad? Is this how a so called business tycoons washroom look like? When this same PH can make the washroom of it's new baby (QH) so good with a bath tub & classy floor, why did IPKKND washroom not have a bath tub & why did IPKKND washroom have such a cheap mirror & bad looking tiles & shower? Why this partiality?
Why did she give us an open letter in FORUM 32 that the show has run its course & they have no story to tell? So that means even if Barun still stayed in the show it will be of no use as the so called great PH had no story to tell
The PH will have writers to write the story, so by providing us with an open letter in FORUM 32 does she mean to say that her story writers have no stuff?
Even after inviting ideas from viewers, why did she still continue with the crap tracks?
Why she didn't sort out issues in a proper manner when there was an uproar among fans?

Agree entirely. They do have talent and know how to tell a story in a nuanced and layered way. The first 6 months were brilliant.

But after that the story, script all of that went downhill, with moments of the old brilliance, but overall, it was a mess. The last 6 months especially.

the poor tracks and rushed tracks definitely hastened the demise of the show.

The 'story has reached its end' letter was the final nail in the coffin, any actor or lead's leaving notwithstanding.

Not to talk of all the rumors about the mistreatment or snide remarks made against some of the actors. We have no idea about the veracity of that, but there is rarely smoke without fire.

Will those same actors - ALL of them, not just some -- work with this PH again? I wonder.

never mind the actors - I will not even watch their shows because I know how unprofessional they are. 6 months down the line they will get another bee in their bonnet about another story idea, and the one they currently have on the production floor will end up like Geet and IPK did - down the toilet.
