A week has passed, it is exactly a 7 days since Maan got the divorce papers, I am relieved since then. That woman Geet is finally out of my life forever.

The day Papaji, my father in law told me that his Friend Daljeet Handa had a granddaughter, whom he wants to be the Bahu of the family, I was Ok.

Maan was not going to marry and Dev will be forced to marry that village girl and get out of clutches of that NT.

All was set, but Dev refused to abide our wishes, even Maan who never voiced his opinion or contradicted my wish, talked on his behalf. I kept quite.

I have with great difficulty freed Maan from that Sameera his childhood friend; he was confused that he was in love with her.

but all went to drain when Dev left KM just a month before the marriage, Maan was just back from a conference, I asked him to marry the Handa girl; Maan was shocked but said he would like to meet her first.

I did not say much, even I have not seen that girl, and on this pretext I might get a chance to meet her.

We went to HSPur, her name was Geet, she was beautiful and innocent, she was pursuing B. Tech in Fashion and apparel design, a rare combination of beauty with brains; she will definitely bear healthy children; I instantly dreamt about 2 healthy and smart kids calling me Daadi, no Grand MOM.

At the way back I asked Maan how was she? He simply nodded and said she was quite simple and as I wished he will marry her. I was very happy.

Geet came to the house, she was a good girl, but her ways were very stupid, she sang songs while working, she even danced, she liked listening to music, she even watched serials. What she did not do was dress up in style, she herself would soon be a fashion stylist, but she dressed very simply.

I liked that she never came between me and Maan and more over I liked that Man never talked to her, he did not even pay any attention to her.

I was relived now, that I became sure that she would not part my son from me.

Her pregnancy news came as a pleasant surprise, I took care of her, gave her love and advised her about things.

As soon as Agni was born I took charge of him, after all I was his Grand MOM, I was way to mature and experienced then his mother.

As time passed I had anther grandchild, a girl, Aarohi, she was very beautiful, and now as Geet was being busy with her new work, I took charge of her also.

When Agni was 6 he was sent to the hostel where all Khurana's study.

After Agni went I found that Maan got distracted from me. He often looked at Geet as if asking something.

He retired to his room earlier than usual. I felt insecure. Even Aarohi had a string of attachment with her mother.

I decided to send Aarohi also to the boarding. I have found Dev often called Geet and that old man My FIL also filled Maan's mind with some absurd things.

As time passed my insecurities worsened., I often asked Maan to stay back till midnight for some work or other.

Finally when my FIL died and Aarohi was sent to boarding, Geet left KM. what happened, no one told me and not that I was concerned.

I was relieved when she asked for divorce. She did not ask for custody of my grandchildren, I adore her for that.

But since last one week I am noticing that otherwise quiet and calm Maan has started behaving like he was irritated. Adi called me up to tell that Maan has been very rude and shouting lately at small mistakes, he has even suspended a few employees for a day or two.

Is he taking this divorce thing badly? What has happened to him? Does he want Geet back in his life? But why? As far as I remember they never shared any words, they did not even look at each other. And she was living separately since the last 3 & year.
