yes..i do think tht he is overrated..I mean i cant say tht any of his performances were "wow" for ex. i could say HR was gr8 in koi mil gaya 😉 but nothing like tht could be sed about abhi...i do like him but its toooo early to name him the next big superstar 😳 I would want to watch other powerpacked performances from him or a solo movie without amitabh ji 😉 then maybe i could guess on how good he is. 😳

give him time.....
sometimes actors need to grow ...im not sure he is over rated..coz in the begining the whole world practically lynched him...now if he is getting some fame..good for him..but he def does need to work on it....no offence but over rated is the word i think most aptly suits hritick....sorry jadoo fans...
ps.....totally agree that the only fun performance in kank was abhi..the rest looked..ummm...bored?!!

Abhi is a darling and he is getting the credits after a long timr for his work and I think he should enjoy the success.. Its jus that anything that has Abhi in it somehow automatically get hyped up. I loved him in Bluffmaster.. The rap song tht he sung was an instant success..

So Abhi rocks and I think if the actor is not performing then he cant last in the industry. 😛

He is a lot better now! Wonder how that happened.. Ya 25 big flops.. Heloo!!!!!!!! I mean come on.. even a donkey can learn to act after doing 25 movies.. Coming back to question, yes he is overrated and that to big time. He got a chance to act even after 25 flops and he still isnt that good..

Yes,he was a craze,but he evoked the frenzy because of his looks(and even you'd agree that he does look devastating😉😳)...KNPH was a decent movie....and Quoting RAni Mukherjee"Contacts can just bag one roles,but once the camera starts rolling,none of it would help".....Hrithik's lager than life character in KHPH was loved by many over ABhishek's chatacter in Refugee....

2. fiza & mission kashmir--karishma kapoor and sanjay dutt movies respectively where HR does the saaaaaaame thing😕

Fiza was a good movie,sadly it flopped

3, CRAP like naa tum jaano na hum; and aap mujhe acche lagne lage

and As if abhi hasnt acted in crap like Dhai Akshar prem ke,Shararat,Naach,Mumbai se aaya mera dost,Om jai jagdish,zameen ,tera jaado chal gaya,haan maine bhi pyaar kiya🤢 etcetera....

5. HR retreats into a shell because critics tear him to shreds for his role in MPKDH and refuses Hum-Tum and dil Chahta hai

HR's dad to the rescue with Koi Mil Gaya; a masala mix of ET and forrest gump; as said by HR himself on KWK,has anyone watched forrest gump and i am sam and ajay devgan's portrayal in the indian remake of i am sam???ajay devgan was phenomenal and he was disabled all thru; HR had jadoo's help half way thru

SHeen,All agreed,but ABhi hasnt even done anything remotely close to KMG....SO how could he be called the next superstar😕

7. because HR didnt believe in his friend farhan he turned down DCH; and then when DCH was ahit hrithik agreed to star in Lakshya that; what's the word--FLOPPED--at least abhi stood up for Rohan Sippy and did Kuch na Kaho and Bluffmaster

Dont people ever make bad choices??Cant they have the much of margin,to make a bad career choice..Afterall,HR is human😛..Now think about it sheen,Had Hr said YES to yuva and B&B,ABhi would have still been a struggling actor😭...and Bluffmaster was a mediocre over the top movie,nothing exceptional....Fiza was much better than Bluffmaster

8. HR takes a break and prepares for Krrish--in which histrionics were not needed; HR's dad comes to the rescue and employs an Hwood action director and all HR does in the movie is parade his hotness😳; krrish is india's superhero but half baked in comparison to spiderman BUT why did ppl forget CONVENIENTLY about the AB movie ajooba where AB had magic powers😕;and what was shahenshah???did the big B live in that black suit(i havent watched it so pardon my ignorance)plus the LA times; the NY times and the London times tORE krrish to shreds--but again no one remembers that😕--

And ABhi hasnt even done a Krrish...😆.. Secondly,Krrish was made for the indian audience,who loved it....

But my point is,abhishek hasnt even done anything close to krrish and KMG

10. i remember when HR lost out on the national award to saif for hum-tum--does no one remember?? his whining😕

He lost out to Vikram,a south Indian actor and NOT to Saif...Just to clear your misconception😃..and Vikram was better in his movie "pithamagan" than HR was in "KMG".......

and HR just felt sad,he didnt whine on national television,or give 545565 interviews.....and why not,after working so hard,he has prerogative to feel bad

Abhi 's bunty babli and Yuva is NOTHING compared to KMG and Krrish.Period!

11.on KWK HR called most of his flop films his director's errors and not his lack of judgement--who told him to take the role on and had any other actor said that they wuld have received severe flak

Sheen,No one's comparing HR offscreen and Abhi offscreen..personally,I love Abhishek offscreen,as I find HR too straightforward(sans all diplomacy) and boring..ABhishek is vivacious,cool and is amazinglyyy cute😳

But for me,HR is a better actor than Abhi any day

The actor conveniently blamed it on a film that he's shooting for and so that's the reason why he's not allowed to tamper with the look.

But we suggest he rush himself to his favourite salon and get rid of that facial disaster before we're tempted to burden him with some very snide remarks.
