Forced to Love? ~ Part 1
Khushi was getting married to Arnav Singh Raizada. Is that a good thing? Maybe to some, but not to her. This marriage was just for her ill Babuji. He only had a few weeks left to live and wanted to see both his daughters happily married before he left. So while Payal was happily marrying Arnav brother, Akaash, she was forced into marrying Arnav. Oh how she regretted going with Payal to meet Akaash. When they went out, Akaash always brought his cousin along so that Khushi wouldn't feel lonely and where had it got her? Due to all the time that they spent alone together, Arnav had fallen in love with her. But she, as lovely as he was, she was committed to another man. She had promised him to love him forever and a day and now she was marrying someone else. Karan wasn't pleased, but he said he'd wait for her. She had planned to tell Arnav the full truth, hoping he would understand.
"Arnav there's something you have to know."
"What's that?"
"I love someone else."
"Oh. Then why did you agree for us to get married?"
"Because Babuji didn't approve of Karan and I don't want to see him sad before he dies. But Arnav after he's gone, nothing can stop me from going back to Karan."
"So our marriage won't mean anything to you?"
"no, it doesn't, its simply so that my Babuji dies happy, knowing his daughters are happy."
"As you wish."
"Aren't you going to say anything?"
"No, all I will say is that I will do all that I can while we are married to make you realise how much I love you and how much you mean to me. If I do not succeed you are free to leave me."
"So you're going to force me into loving you? Are you sick in the head?"
"I never said anything about forcing you. You will fall for me on my own accord."
"You really think that's going to happen?"
"I know it will, Khushi Kumari Gupta."
She kept playing that conversation in her head. What was she going to do? There was nothing she could do now; she was dressed in her wedding attire, waiting for her groom to arrive. Wasn't she just the luckiest bride in the world?
"You'll never force me into loving you Arnav Singh Raizada, never!"
