I don't think he is sick. He may be tired.

His grown stubble and long gelled hair make him look sick and tired. A grooming is must for him.

His screen presence is really less now a days. He only covers 1/3 or 1/4 of an episode. So he must not be shooting that much. He is rehearsing for the SPL. But he is only hosting the showing, he is not performing. So I don't think the rehearsal is not stressful too.

I wonder how cum he is so lack of energy in such young age.Look at Sanaya, she is almost covering the whole episode now and also rehearsing for her performance in SPL. She didn't take a proper break after joining IPK. But she is still fit and fine.In USA people work, study and at the same time do household works, what I also do. But don't get sick and exhausted!

I know every body's energy level is not same, but still I think Barun is bored with IPK, becoz of the crapy story line. That's why he is not grooming himself properly. If the SP change the PH and come up with good story line again, I think after taking his deserving break he will come up with fresh look and enthusiasm again.

if you are stressed it will show as dull skin and pimples, even make up cant cover it

bless him, poor chap needs a break to relax and then come back with full vigour
