It was good except for the metaphors...they made my head spin. And women are only like that in aperfect world, which this place, especially Indian, isn't. Finally, Kasamh Se is absolutely the WORST thing to compare this speech to...At least compare it to a good indian movie...God aI almost threw up again when I heard that shows name. Oh, I g2g, its dinnertime and I have to watch Kasamh Se so I can laugh at it. It's a great comedy!

you are exactly correct Sarah. I think KruPawan really doubt or is unsure of very own existance in this world. if a woman didn't suffer the pain to bring to this world then your existnce will be out of question. in that if any sex should be second to another one then hear this "it is MATHA, PITHA, GURU, DAIVAM " means mother comes first, followed by father, then guru comes then come God. Matha bring u to the world, Pitha help her, guru guide.. do u doubt now about ur own existance... no need to follow a sex to another... equality is necessary... or the world loose than men win.. i suppose no man have such a foolish thinking as in the above marked line... u can keep away but don't insult women... story is story... not real indian woman though... but the woman never decide i can't suffer this delivery pain to bring a child to this earth.. if she do then we will talk... especailly in India... we love India.. we are proud of India.. and we are proud as being an Indian woman...

We do suffer on day to day basis and just stay quiet, to keep the harmony of the home and make a comfortable place for our kids.
The men in our lives , demean us , insult us and say all the wrong words because they know, we will still stick to them and not leave because of kids.
Sometimes I think, is it worth staying with all this nonsense and humiliation , just to save the family or walk out and breathe some fresh air and be what we really are.
These serials portray us that we should live with it and if somebody does walk out, it is shown as negative. E.g in Saat Phere, the whole family tried to convince Aditi to accept Dheer just because of family. Would they do the same if Tara or Saloni have an affair ? See how they bash Shubhra because she had a affair.

I am totally confused and clueless.

while lots feminists crying for equality this characters are confusing us... by i would say... i won't cry for an equality if needed... what i would suggest is.... man or woman... need to be aware... yes awareness, that is the bottow necessity... where to protect our pride, where to pretect our family... where to prtoect the name.... see bani, was she was so unconscious to think it is not proper to go to a hotel room with pushkar in night... do the working women who works in night will take risk like that... i have come to know many stay in the work place till sun rise then go home... to avoid giving a chance.. we protect us... that not against female not against man... that is the human nature.... a trend or greediness towards their own needs.... we need to increase our awareness... barometer will show the same results yaar... atleast for who will stay... then our weekness... fo scrificing.... taking all gadies running on our head... we make them believe we are capable of that.... show if u can't then u can't... show if it is not fair... u won't do it.. show if it is adjustable/not harming do give up... i hope my opinion is not so boring to u
