Dear fellow viewer & reader, welcome to yet another edition of DC .. hmm a day ends .. & a new day dawns .. an era starts . while an era ends .. a poignant goodbye .. a dose of parenting .. the leftover family gathering .. & a dash of rabba ve .. all packed in 20 minutes of a bittersweet IPK ..

Dont remember if i noticed this quiet couple standing on the sidelines of the serial .. through its thick & thin .. have loved the pinku & pinky jokes on them .. but cant say they ever registered in my mind .. but .. maybe at some level they did touch me .. coz tonite while bidding them adieu .. my eyes .. filled up .. not an emotional viewer .. more of a disconnected viewer .. but .. maybe at a subliminal level .. Payash did touch me ..

Payal Gupta .. a quiet mousy character .. was always as important to the story line as Anjali .. if Anjali was the reason Arnav bound himself to Khushi .. then Payal was the reason Khushi .. let herself be bound ..

The arnav khushi love story started with Payal Gupta .. they met because of her .. they married because of her .. & tonite .. we bid adieu to .. the quiet .. mousy .. lovable .. fierce when provoked .. shy when proposed girl .. Payal Gupta .. we will miss u ..

Akash Singh Raizada .. to say this character had any impact on me .. will be a lie .. i never noticed this character .. but yes i did notice Akshay Dogra .. he made me watch... .. offscreen dramas for the first time .. i stumbled upon "balwant kaur na aai" on youtube . .. & was immediately struck by his wonderful personality .. for Akshay all one can say is .. dude .. u do have miles to go before u sleep ..

The episode:

the episode started with a poignant .. tearful farewell of Payash .. & ended with a welcome edition ..

An ending of an era .. a beginning of another ..

The episode brought about in it .. the next track .. a quick guide to parenting .. till the offscreen 'tamasha' does not reach its rightful conclusion no 'real new track' can be laid .. so the "stay back" of aarav .. which was orchestrated yesterday .. was explained tonite..

For any IPK lover Diwali spells the begining of romance .. a move in their relation .. & like last time ..this time around we also saw a maturing in the relation .. if last diwali was all about acknowledging the attraction .. outer beauty of the person .. this diwali was about acknowledging .. all the inner beauty of the person .. so all in all .. within the 2 diwali's the makers made us go the whole circle .. the love story .. actually completed its circle .. what started last diwali .. was made to complete its revolution this diwali ..

The rangoli .. had spread last diwali .. the rangoli spread this diwali .. last diwali he struggled to speak ... this diwali .. he came close .. closer .. closest .. & whispered .. "happy diwali khushi" ... last diwali .. she struggled with her emotions .. this diwali .. she smiled looked into his eyes .. with her eyes .. wished him a very happy life too ..

last diwali .. they both cudnt contain their desire .. they found a secluded corner .. away from it all .. & were about to give in to their feelings .. when they were interrupted by the bell !!!

this diwali .. they did not have to hide anything .. neither from themselves .. nor from the world .. they were already one .. he bent towards his wife .. kissed her caressingly on her cheeks .. they both looked at each other lost .. remembering another time .. another place .. something left unsaid .. something left undone .. they bent towards each other ... the emotions of the past .. enveloping them ... when suddenly .. they were rudely disturbed .. ( whoa & what a disturbance .. star cricket plug .. grrr) ..

finally .. the family gathers around to offer their prayers to the goddess of wealth .. they gather to seek blessings from the 'evil' .. now normally whenever we have seen this family gathering with a pooja happening in IPK .. its followed by a villainous dhamaka .. but lets c .. this time around .. i guess all the predictors are also on leave .. 😉 .. so .. bhai .. jo dikhana hai woh dekhenge .. 😉

as u all know .. i am not one to speculate .. either on hearsay . or on gossip news .. but recently i read somewhere .. that during star diwali shoots .. Sanaya Irani threw a tantrum .. & took a lot of time to get dressed .. & while viewing this episode .. in a particular shot .. i was hit with one thot ..

IPK .. has been plagued by artists tantrums from day 1 .. we have heard numerous stories of how the channel & PH had to negotiate with a particular actor to keep them back .. be it Barun Sobti .. Daljeet Bhanot .. Akshay Dogra .. Deepali Pansare .. writers .. technicians .. all .. but the one name which remained with the show .. without any blemish .. or tantrum .. was SANAYA IRANI .. ironical .. the poor girl was picked up on the one thing she has shown a hell of a lot of .. "professionalism" ..

as i end my piece tonite .. heres a pic .. which i got from the episode .. dunno why i cut the same .. but while picking this one out .. there was one thot that kept at hammering me ..

Will she be the last one standing ...

Guys its the season to spread cheer .. yes there are disturbing news which are flooding the forum .. yes there is a feeling of uncertainity which exists in the hearts of us fans .. but we fans .. did sign up for the show .. we did invest a hell of a lot of time & emotion on this show .. so what .. if we dont know if it is ending tomorrow or .. 3 months .. or 6 months down the line .. one thing is for sure .. it will end .. so why not enjoy what is left of it .. we can all speculate .. we can all bash .. but .. wud it be more memorable to laugh .. smile .. shed a tear .. & embrace our show as it reaches its last leg of journey ..
