I think what he meant by "not doing justice to the role" is that his heart is probably not into it anymore. He probably does need a break to recuperate. Every human being needs a break from time to time. I think if he is not into it anymore and is forced to stay then his feelings may negatively affect his work. I love him as Arnav but I think Barun knows what's best for him. Hope he stays but in the end everyone should support him.
