Every person has two faces in life. A face which shows the true side or the good side and the other is the dark side which comes when pushed to the extreme. And KS characters all have a hidden agenda including our loveable characters Jai and Bani. Each character has been tainted in KS at one time or another and the main protaginists are no exception. Each character has something that he is hiding from another may it be a small lie or a volcano waiting to erupt and destroy everything that will come in its path.
Lets Look at All the Players of KS:
Jai Walia- His character was shown a no-nonsense businessman, who only believed that money could buy anything and was happy with his life until the three Dixit sisters entered in his life. Jai's character from the beginning has had shades of grey. He has been shown to be so understanding on one issue but goes completely bersek if provoked in the wrong way. He does not hides his displeasure and ensures that if things are not done his way, it is the highway for the other person. The transformation in his character over a period of time when Bani enters his life as his wife just shows how his character has evolved.
When we come to know that Jai was responsible for Bani's mother death we cannot believe it. He is flawed as he is human and not god. He made a mistake and he has paid for it dearly. His compassion and love for his wife, which he still unsure of. He knows he wants her back in his life but why? I mean he has still not said it to himself that he loves Bani.
The love he has for his child cannot be doubted by anyone, and when Bani pushes his buttons at the right place he just blasts and has revolted against his wife and is now back to his old self with scarsm to say the least. Saying profanities and talking to her like third person is something that Jai is enjoying.
But I think he has a hidden agenda, when everything failed for him to get Bani to open up he has decided to push her limits and test how far can she go when pushed in the corner. I think he will make Bani confess as to why she is doing this. And he has already started to push the buttons where it hurts her the most. When he put Kangans in Pia's each hands, Bani just could not stand it and walked away. I think Jai is using her own tactics on her and will definitely ensure that Bani breaks down and tells him the truth.
Bani Walia- A simple loving girl from a small town came find refuge in Jai Walia's house in Mumbai with her sisters. She is the eldest and loves her sister to no end. And will do anything to ensure their happiness. But Bani has never lived her own life. She has always put her sisters and others happiness before her and thus lives her life that way. She has always compromised and has tried to make the best of the situation. When she came to find out that Pia loves Pushkar and vice-versa she backed away.
When Pia jilted Jai Walia at the altar she married Jai Walia to save family honour. She changed Jai Walia and the transformation has been so uncanny to say the least. She tolerated every humilation and scarcasm thrown at her and she kept moving ahead. She protected Anu and even took the pregnancy blame on her and everytime Jai Walia thought she had wronged him, he found out that she had actually saved him. And he could not believe that someone who cared so much about everyone including him was his wife. And she kept gaining his trust to the point that Jai could not think Bani could ever betray him.
Even Bani has a hidden agenda, she is scarificing her love and her life for someone she loves and saving him from his own family by trying to divorce him and claiming alimony to save his property. She feels that Jai Walia has done so much for her and her sisters that she can never see him in trouble or distraught in her life and hence the ultimate betrayal of trust that Jai has so much on her. Bani left Jai Walia when she came to find out that he was responsible for her mothers death.
Yet as they say love works in the most mysterious ways and she is back to save him so has she forgiven him? She has turned into a grey character as far as Jai Walia is concerned. Now Jai is pushing Bani to the extreme limits let see how long before she breaks down.
Jigayassa- Jai Walia's sister and sees the three sisters as the main obstacle to her happiness where she once controlled the Walia house, where her present and future were completely secured. Where she knew Jai's property will be going to her children. With the entry of the three sisters her world changed overnight. And when Bani came into Jai's life as his wife, for Jiggs this was the beginning of the end she could see to her secure future for herself and her children and has not left any stones unturned to ensure that she inflicts Bani with humilation and scarsm at the slightest provovcation.
She loves her brother but she loves her children more than anything. Hence she is completely taken aback when she comes to know that Bani is doing this to save Jai's property from her and Ranveer. She is stunned to find out that Bani loves Jai to this extent that she is willing to make the ultimate scarifice by betrayal. She is pleased with the fact that Jai has found a wife who loves him so much but even this will not stand in her way to get Jai's property.
And in coming days, there will be a battle going between Bani and her to see who turns out to be the winner!!!!!
Ranveer- He is Jiggs eldest son and a mom bakht to say the least and like his mother sees the three sisters as his biggest threat and with his mom acting as his guide he has been inflicting painful blows to the Dixit sisters ever since they have come to Walia House. He also has a hidden agenda, I think he will betray his own mother when the crunch time comes. He is one person that does not care about anything.
He is married to Raashi and did so because his sister Anu was pregnant and with Rano-Saahil love angle there was nothing he could do but marry Raashi. And now he is showing his merciliness on Raashi and has started to hit her. I think in coming months, he will do something that will stun even his own mother.
Aditya- One of the most loveable characters in KS. He has been always there for the three sisters. He loves them to no end. He is fond of Bani and always believes that she can never betray anyone's trust. Until sometime back he was shown as the most sincere and true friend of Jai Walia and he is Jiggs ex-husband.
But his character got tainted when Jai got shot and we were lead to believe that he maybe behind Jai's attack. His intentions are not completely clear. Is he really a nice guy or a evil hiding behind the facade of nice guy only time will tell. But one thing is for sure that he has some hidden agenda and he is hiding something which was a potential of ticking time-bomb waiting to explode. When and how he shows his true colour would be interesting to see.
Pia Dixit/Shukla- The girl with the X- factor. She is Bani's sister and she has dreams which are even bigger and far-fetched than anything else. She is the catalyst who is responsible for the turmoil in Jai and Bani's life when she left Jai walia for Pushkar at the altar. Her beliefs are so different from her other two sisters one has a hard time to believe that she is Bani's sister. The contrast between the two is like night and day. She is ambitious and dreams of marrying a rich guy and have the world at her feet.
But falls in love with Pushkar and marries him. She cannot accept Pushkar for what he is. She has a hard time to adjusting with his family and cannot compromise and always does not spare Puskhkar by comparing him to Jai Walia and calls Pushkar a "looser". Her ultimate betrayal to Pushkar is when she does not even tell him that she is pregnant and aborts the child without his knowledge and ends up on the road when Pushkar throws her out of the house. She ends up at the Walia house and has also started to work for him again.
She is a materialistic girl and for her money means more than relationship except the one she has for her sisters. The bond which will never break or will it? It would be interesting to see. As Jai-Pia angle will come into play. Lets see if Pia will rise from her attitude and redeem herself by bringing Jai-Bani together.
Also, it will be interesting to see Pia's reaction when she comes to know that Jai was responsible for her mothers death. Which i think she will find out soon.
Rano- The youngest of the three sisters who loves Bani to no end. She is the brains of the family. She falls in love with Saahil and wants to marry him. She also knows that Bani loves Jai a lot and wants them back together and leaves no stone unturned to ensure that Bani and Jai are back with each other. She knows her sister is doing this for a reason but cannot understand what it might be. She is a pawn in Jiggs hand as Jiggs is trying not only to break the unity between her and Raashi but also between the three sisters. It will be interesting to see how Rano deals with this. It will also be interestig to see that how she will react when she comes to know that Jai Walia was responsible for her mother's death. I am postive this will come out soon. I mean what is one more twist.
Saahil- I think he is a very positive character and is being underplayed tremendously. He is unable to raise his voice against his mother and one feels that he is afraid of his mother. But he loves Rano and like her he wants Jai-Bani back together. Lets seee how his character turns out in the future.
Pushkar- He is a loyal friend of Bani and husband of Pia. He was once Jai's favorite man. He was his Man Friday. But when he married Pia, he also lost everything because of this marriage as he was thrown out of his house and then into jail. He had to take the brunt of Jai Walia's anger at every stage and he suffered the most. From being well settled in the present to what looked like a very golden and a amazing future which turned out to be a nightmare. He found himself fallling apart after his marriage to Pia. He adjusted with her, tried to reason with her, loved her, took every tantrum but still found himself empty handed in the end.
For him, Pia's betrayal of aborting his child without even telling him brought the breaking point for him and he found solace in Bani's friendship. Pushkar is unaware of the fact that Bani once loved him. And now the Bani-Pushkar angle will come to play lets see how he handles this storm when he finds himself facing Jai again. Somewhere, I think Jai and Pushkar are working together. But that is my hunch.
Anu- She is Jiggs daughter and one of Bani's ardent supporter she loves her Bani mami because Bani took her pregnancy blame on herself in order to protect Anu. She is one supporter who Jiggs always finds hard to stop and all protests of Jiggs cannot change her stand and feelings for Bani Mami. Anu always speaks her mind like when she came to defend Rano after teej party and how she snubs jiggs when she tells her if she does not come for Rano's pagphere rasam then she will not come for her pagphere's rasam. She is one character to watch for. I will not be surprised if she stands against her own mother to support Bani when the time comes.
Raashi- She has been shown a very mild and simple mannered girl. She became a pawn as she had to marry Ranveer as Saahil-Rano loved each other and she had to settle for Ranveer. She is Bani's supporter and told Bani about jiggs-Ranveers plan. She is being abused both my her husband and by her mother-in-law. I think she will go against them and become a catalyst in exposing her own husband and mother-in-law. How her character turns out lets wait and watch.
Dadi & Maasi- Both are good old elderly women of the house. Both love Bani a lot. Both know that she cannot do this without a reason. Though Dadi is still unaware but Massi knows why Bani is doing this. Both love Jai to no extent. For them, he is the apple of their eyes. And I really think it is high time Maasi goes and tells Jai the truth. Lets see what happens with both of their characters.
Ranvijay & Roshni Chopra- The brother and sister who were instrumental in bringing the PR raaz in front of Bani and thereby creating a rift in Jai-Bani's life. Both were aware of PR and somehow I feel the real reason of PR is yet to be discovered. When and how only time will tell. Both want to make Jai suffer and Ranvijay ensured that he got his daughter married to Walia khandan and kept this condition for Anu's marriage.
Roshni Jai's ex-fiance wants Jai back but cannot have him so wants to ensure that no one else can have him and hence brings PR raaz infront of Bani.
I think when the PR raaz finally comes out they will have to bear the brunt of Jai's anger.
Tarun Sablok- Jai's lawyer friend who is Bani's lawyer who is helping her to get divorce and alimony from Jai at his own persistence. Tarun knows more than he is willing to share and I think somewhere in the near future he will become a catalyst in bringing Jai and Bani together and also will be responsible to bring the truth about Park Road into light.
I have a very strong feeling that he knows Bani's real intention and will reveal it to Jai when the time is right. Lets see how his character turns out.
Rohit- Ranvijay's son and Anu's husband seems a decent guy. A lot has not been said about him. He loves Anu and is supportive of her. He may also come to find out about PR real reason and may expose his own bua and father. That is just my thinking.
Tony- I think this guy is the best person to find out what and how is everyone. He loves Bani and does not like Pia as he called Pushkar to tell him that Pia was at the Walia House. I think Tony knows more than he is ever credited for.
