DABH is a love story but I don't deny there is some saas-bahu element in it...but I don't see anyting wrong in it...No matter how much you try, Indian shows especially mega serials can't 'escape' from showing this element because it's part of our culture...what's the point showing a serial with purely a love story concept when we are seeing it regularly in movies and films?

PS: I also noticed that the TRPs of investigative concept stories hitting high TRPs, so I don't think audience only love saas-bahu drama...if the show is good, people will definitely watch it 😉

Well said. Completely agree with u😊. DABH is a love story, which redefines d relationship of a husband-wife. Saas-bahu element is just a part of d story. It is nt d crux of d show. In fact d crux/theme of d show is about d supportive husband😃. He's d central character, who is completely different 4rm other leads⭐️😳. Besides dis, MIL of dis show is quite different 4rm other MILs.

Agree with you both, DABH evolves in changing of old ideals and embracing new concepts. Here, the main theme is husband supporting wife to reach her goals. That theme will remain as the central point. 😃 😃

I will go with Niruba ,Juna and Saibal. In our culture parents do stay with the son and when that happens clashes are inevitable as a mother tends to be possessive of her sons and finds it difficult to give importance to the other woman in her son's life. However to make a sweeping statement that only saas bahu serials run is wrong as I think CID has been running for ages.DABH definitely has a saas bahu angle but the USP of the story is the journey of a bahu in a traditional milieu with the support of her husband in the pursuit of her cherished dreams.
