It is amazing how much we love conspiracy theories and find it difficult to accept something that is straight-forward and logical.

BB is Scripted: Even after seeing the live-feed and seeing the happenings of the house 24x7 we want to believe that the show is scripted and everything happens for the sake of TRPs.
Is it possible for people to put on an act 24x7? If these people are such good actors why don't we hire them all in our movies and sweep away all the Oscars, Emmys, Film Festivals etc.?
Auditions/Evictions are pre-planned: Even after knowing that the voting is being audited by one of the best agencies in the world and that the results are available for scrutiny by a third-party we insist on things like - XYZ is known to Salman and that's why s/he is in. ABC misbehaved with Salman so they're going to be evicted this week.
Knowing what a cesspool BB House is, do you think anybody would recommend their friends to be part of the house? I would call such a person an enemy not a friend. Besides there are 3 film producers within Salman's own family and numerous other producers who work solely with the actor. If Salman wanted to promote someone wouldn't he recommend the person to those producers rather than taking this route? Yeh toh naak pakadne ke liye kaan pakadne wali baat ho gayi.
Secondly why would Endemol listen to Salman? After all Salman is only a host. He's not even the Brand Ambassador for the show. They are in it for the money not to oblige a host. In 6 seasons there have been 5 other hosts too. So does every host get this much power? We don't say KBC winners are hand-picked by Amitabh do we?
Callers are Production people: Now this is the funniest conspiracy theory I've heard because it assumes that only those select few who are part of this forum have any intelligence whatsoever.
Of course when the entire nation sees Sampat lying through her teeth, no one but the members of this forum would've thought to ask her that question. So the PH had to put in a fake caller.
Of course not a single person in the country wanted to ask Siddhu why he was messing up the game show.
Though I fail to understand why someone would want to compliment Urvashi on her skin regimen or her dressing style when there are other interesting things happening. If I was part of the PH I would've asked her about her fight with Rajev that week instead of "AApki khubsoorti ka raaz".

Fact is that we are used to controversies and conspiracy theories. We want to believe that everything has an ulterior motive behind it. We want to see the strings behind the puppet show otherwise we cannot enjoy the play in front of us. Somewhere there is that feeling that we are being taken for a ride - be it the govt. or the company we work for or our own personal relationships - we cannot see anything as simple as it appears to be. And to me that is the sad part. That we are giving in to this mass paranoia.
