TV actor Kirti Gaekwad speaks on her best friend and her dream role

My best friend: Surveen Chawla. I can tell her all my secrets. I trust her completely.

One thing no one knows about me: I am very polite and humble with people and never misbehave with anyone. No one but my husband knows that I have quite a temper, and he is always at the receiving end of it.

If I weren't an actor: I would simply be Sharad's (Kelkar) wife and the mother of his kids.

My dream role: Rani Mukherjee in 'Black'.

What turns me on: The small surprises that my husband springs on me. He once woke me up with bed tea as I did not have a maid.

My recent buy: I brought some lovely T-shirts which I enjoy flaunting.

What I love and hate about my profession: Television stars are truly pampered and I love the appreciation we get from the audiences. But I hate the fact that even if we are sick or have to attend an emergency, we have no way out but to continue shooting. There is no replacement and the show has to go on.

My food fetish: I can eat Chinese cuisine all day long. I also love biryani and butter chicken. I do love experimenting different cuisines.

I'd be lost without: My husband Sharad.

Last time I was on a high: At a party, I had four Bacardi breezers and a few Baileys which made me really tipsy.
