Sanaya sidelined??EDITED modnote pg18 - Page 2

Personally im a SARUN fan...i like both Barun n Sanaya individually too but not as much as i love having SARUN in one frame.
Also the "not nominating" Sanaya is really a big issue.
Barun's nominations are because of his character in IPKKND which actually is nothing without Khushi...Arnav is nothing in performance without Khushi.
She is as much a part of that character as Arnav himself is.
Same goes for the character of Khushi.

So if Barun is appreciated , as he makes that complex character live on screen with brilliance , with nominations n awards hence after , Sanaya should be too.
I feel more hurt because Sanaya's versatility is never appriciated.
The girl makes you laugh , acts foolish and the same girl makes you cry acts mature just all in one show!
Because nominations also depend on a show's popularity and theres no second thought that the show's ace card is ARHI/SARUN.

And this injustice is not done by Barun so im not saying im angry on him or not happy with HIM.
Im happy FOR him and angry on those people who create this rift.

Is it so difficult to see her talent?
Why is Barun's fandom shadowing her presence?
Maybe coz there is greater no. of females watching TV than men.
But thats a personal choice.
The organizers should understand the importance of roles and actors.

The makers of the show should see to it too.

My feminism is hurt because of this.

And this KBC thing is quite off putting.
Its been years since television jodis who "make the show" , come on KBC.
It had been Parvati and Pallavi from Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii coz they ran that show.
It had been Ram Priya coz there jodi runs their show.
Similarly IPKKND's USP is ARHI.
They made this show not only Barun/Arnav..
Its not so hard to understand.

They had such a genuine chance to promote the show through both of them present.

i somewhat agree...the fault is of cvs who r hell bent upon making khushi a joker...n generally the charcetrs who get nominated are a bit serious characters...i am not saying she has to cry...but her character should be seriousl...

Everything you've said is cent percent true and I am with u if you decide a petition to get her nominated. I really feel bad for her, she is so talented but never gets nominated because she is not a typical star plus bahu. It is also due to the comical character she is made to portray most of the time. I think no one takes her seriously because of that as well, make her cry and see miserable over trifles and awards will shower on her. This is so unfair if she is part of the best jori then how come that she is the worst half when it comes to awards. 😡

I totally agree with you! Someone should put together a petition for this to give Sanaya what she deserves!

I am Sanaya's fan first and foremost. She is a fine actress who can do romance, melodrama and comedy very well. She is highly talented. She has an international following because she appeals to the generation of today. I am not into Indian serials/films, but she had converted me to IPKKND . I am surprised she is not getting the recognition she deserves. I only see Barun as an actor to helps to compliment Sanaya.

You know what , I am least bothered abt Sanaya and Barun to be honest in replying to this post.

I would love to see things with foresightness, today barun is getting (all thanks to ASR character alone though off late he is neither arnav or ASR to be honest in acting , its plain BS without enough passion in his work quite honestly, i am not baised as i am not SARUN fan in first place ) but can this be guaranteed in 2013 ? (applies to both SI and BS here ) Will BS be treated the same without ASR? I know people love the character more than BS( i am not taking his acting credit off either ) . so its yet to be watched .May be SI opting one crying role or regular bahus in future could get nominated ,we never know.

I mean seriously, what if winning 1 or 2 awards or coming on KBC ? Is life(professional ) all abt this ? No , its more and life(professional growth ) does not stop at this. Awards shows come next yr again and KBC with new season too .SI can still get them , there is always hope and her "consistent" hard work will sure make her reach there . I always believe, GOD has other ways to make us reach or give us the best to us . (i think SI falls in this category)

I see so many post today made for SI, seriously its not less than any award for her i guess and i am shocked at members reaction. SI has really grown above her character khushi and hands on my heart I am not wrong in saying this at all . She appeals more of personality to me than talent alone.

So let me forget abt them here , I dont know while reading your post I am not sure in which state of mind were you in when you typed it , I am not emotional neither i cry as a person in real life but there was something in your post which simply touched my soul and had my eyes moist little bit (no tears and all )

I would applaud you for this post lady.👏
